Several times we have seen here for the attention of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and other places.I advise those who want peace to come to the Hotel da Ameira. Do not forget the pool when the weather leaves and can take children because they have a pool for them

It's the second time we spent a few days at this hotel.
Great for rest
Typically Alentejano.
5 stars for the sympathy and availability of the entire staff.
Great cleaning conditions (considering that we are in the countryside it is spectacular some pets to walk)
In our opinion could only improve on the issue of meals. What you have is great, but only has bar meals, salads (very good), soup, stews...
But as in montemor most restaurants close for holidays at the beginning if August meals become complicated...
But in general we love everything, the simplicity, sympathy, the small pools and grades...

Weekend very nice rooms without luxury but with the indispensable for a few days of rest in the middle of the Alentejo. 20 Km from Évora and pertissimo from Montemor the New.
You have a children's pool. Some rooms with access to the pools.
Lots of space for walks

Near the main highway from Madrid to Lisbon, on the outskirts of the pretty town of Montomor-o-novo, this is a fairly pleasing hotel, around 60 rooms spread out side by side to a quite vast area, therefore giving a feeling of extended space. The swimming pool is excellent. No noise except the caw bells from the surrounding pasture. Generous staff, friendly dog. The rooms are clean but very simple and not very big. This is not a hotel to spend time in your room. There is an large lounge indoors (with free wi-fi) and ample space outside ... you end up not wishing for more and maybe staying longer than planned! You find little to complain about if you want to fill in the "suggestions" form in the room, as we did before our departure.

Hotel da Ameira is located in Montemor-o-Novo, in “Herdade da Ameira”. It’s a huge property, with great outdoors, 2 swimming pools and large lounge indoors. It’s a place to rest and enjoy nature.

The 3 stars hotel is quite nice. Rooms are large with ac and a little TV. It’s not a hotel to spend to much time in the room… you don’t have internet in the rooms and even mobile network could be difficult to have…
… but in the large indoor spaces you have wifi internet and good mobile network coverage.

Breakfast is quite nice and cosy.

It's the first time I'm giving a hotel a one star and even though I might be a bit harsh this is my impression. Staff was not helpful. Very basic room. Substandard bathroom with ALL the metal pipes on the outside looking terrible. Average breakfast. Not very well swimming poop and surrounding area. On the positive side, the entrance and common areas oh the hotel are nice and well decorated. Normally I'd give it a poor, but as we left we complaint that the room was not the one I had booked and that it didn't match the photos shown on the website. The staff didn't apologise and was almost rude. For the price definitely not quality for money. Won't be going back.

Upon arriving to the hotel we were nicely surprised with the pleasant seclusion of the hotel in Alentejo. We were greeted by very friendly receptionist who gave us the luxury to choose the room we liked best. We chose an en-suite which was spacious, clean and very cosy. Just what we needed for our working weekend. We had a problem with electricity which was immediately solved.
The breakfast was quite basic but with freshly baked pastries, bread rolls and freshly squeezed orange juice. Great selection of hot drinks.
Very pleasant stay and would definitely go back to stay there if we´re around Alentejo.

i really enjoyed being here in the country a short drive from the town of Montemor Novo. the pool is good the rooms are comfirtable and the price great. I would definately come back also in winter as they have a fireplace. I found the staff so helpful and in the evening they serve soup and bread complimentary.

If you consider it to be a 3-star hotel, it is very nice!! Well decorated rooms, nice swimming pool, good beds and nice lobby with fine working wifi. They even offer supper for guests, until 9pm. For improvement, breakfast and supper should improve their quality a bit! We found mold in our supper bread... There are such good products in Alentejo so there's some room for improvement!

It's located in a quiet place. One wakes up to the sound of birds. If you want to be in touch with nature, away from the "world", it's the perfect place. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. You need car to go to the nearest town, wich is under a 5 minute drive. The pool and the resting place are wonderful.
