Very nice traditional castle Friendly and gentle owner ( mr Michalis) Comfortable and clean room And rich breakfast! All the package is sufficient , and it is in the center of Lakoniki Mani which means easy approach to all famous Mani destinations!

Although my last time there was only a visit and not a stay, I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past (with friends, groups etc), in different seasons and under different managements. The whole style of the hotel is very traditional that suits exactly the style of this unique area of Hellas called Mani. I would say... More

A very pleasant place in an authentic village with an extremely knowledgable and kind owner who takes time to explain the fascinating history of his native Mani. The guesthouse is part old, part new and blends beautifully with its surroundings. We will definetely be back!

I booked this hotel for my friends stay, because it was close to hotel where I am staying. My friends could walk to the beach and few old churches. The breakfast was fab. The only problem that we experienced was that we arrived quite late (around 11.30 pm), because we get lost and we couldn't find anyone to check my... More

Tsitsiris Castle, this is where we be based ourselves for two nights for our tour around various parts of the Mani. Tsitsiris Castle is a tower house hotel, in the traditional Mani village style located in Stavri, itself an enchanting village. Our room was spacious, pleasant and with air-conditioning and wonderful views, our bathroom could do with up-dating but otherwise... More

Well, first of all, we LOVED Mani, the beaches, the landscape, the remoteness. This guesthouse was thoughtfully and solidly designed, built and furnished with the local traditional spirit in mind, with split level rooms for families and terraces for guests to hang out in semi privacy. Landscaping was meticulously maintained and the elderly proud owner was always on site to... More

We spent our Christmas holiday there (family of 4). The rooms were really dump and cold. The heating was not working most of the time and the bathroom was very narrow. The service quality and eagerness to serve was missing from the owner and his sole housekeeper. Breakfast was ok but it left much to desire. In the evenings the... More

When you decide to travel the Mani, you may as well soak up the atmosphere of this wonderful remote area by staying at one of the authentic tower houses that have been turned into guest houses or hotels. At the small village of Stavri (about 3km off the Areapoli - Gerolimanas road), Tsitsiris Castle provides you with an excellent opportunity... More
