After sitting in stationary traffic on the autobahn, we decided to exit and ended up in Patsch and the first hotel we came across was the Grunwalderhof. Very quiet and comfortable, free wi-fi, typical breakfast, mountain view from our windows, nearby walking trail. We would stay there again!

We had two nights at the hotel on our way through Austria.. Very nice surroundings and a good place to stay if you want to experience the Austrian alps and innsbruck.. The service at the hotel is however not high and the breakfast is definitely below average.

This is a historic large farm house located in the country outside of Innsbruck with great views, great history and modern amenities. The room we stayed in had access to a balcony overlooking the valley. The furniture has history and I like that. The co-located bath room is fine, but not at the most modern standard. I loved the location,... More

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was very unusual but charming and welcoming. We had a room with a wonderful mountains view, the furniture so authentic, i know a lot of people say that this hotel need a touch up, but i personally think it will loose its charm. The bus stop just in front of the... More

We stayed in this hotel one night in August. It's beautiful and full of character if a little rough around the edges. However, it was absolutely spotless and service was friendly and good. The best thing about the hotel was its breathtaking and stunning views. There can't be a hotel with better views than that. Our room was spacious, clean... More

This is an old hunting lodge, in a location with great views. However it shows its age and needs renovation. The halls and rooms are very outdated and tasteless. The rural nature of the area brings lots of flies. But the owners are very nice and attentive, and there are many lovely trails in the area for hiking.

We wanted someplace out of any city where we could hike, eat well, enjoy the sunshine, and relax. Hotel Grunwalderhof fit the bill perfectly. We spent three days at the hotel and it was the best part of our trip. We had breakfast and dinner every night at the hotel and marveled at our little slice of paradise as we... More

We enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. The atmosphere, interior and the old dining room were magnificent. Our room was comfortable and clean and we loved the view to the mountains from the large terrace outside our room. However, the best ingredient in the whole experience was the lovely, warm, welcoming and caring staff. We sure would like to... More

It is a very cute and simple hotel with a beautiful view. The front yard when the snow is coming down is beautiful. Friendly staff. You can relax after a long road trip. Do not carry heavy bags because you will have to climb stairs! Definitely I would return.
