Great hotel complex with super own water area where there is not as much going on as in the spa itself. The direct access is great, you actually go from the hotel directly to the spa to the pools. Breakfast buffet is good, lunch is very slimmed down, but no matter from 13:30 to 17:00 there is afternoon snack. Dinner is good but for this hotel category I am used to something else, especially for the toddlers. Drinks from the vending machine are freely accessible throughout the hotel and are available 24 hours a day. At lunch and dinner you also have a small menu of drinks that are included in the price such as beers, wines or Aperolspritz.

We were here two years ago and now we're having another weekend. Unfortunately, it is really affordable for us as a family (2 adults, child 14 years, child 3 years )only if you come a weekend. A whole week is too expensive for a spa, so I fly somewhere else for the money and see more of the world - unfortunately. I didn't want to give my 3 year old to childcare because he would have walked out like that. So just switch off as a parent because the child is beguiled is not there unfortunately...we enjoyed it anyway, the rooms are beautiful and the grounds are also huge! I would also like to come longer than a weekend if it were not so extremely expensive!
I also found it interesting that you could order pillows in advance and they were still not lying on arrival at the room - what is the option? So we got them ourselves...also for the vegan food I noticed that there was always only 1 choice two of each starter/main+ dessert but still...the others just had much more choice ...I booked months before (and aug stated that we eat vegan) so there was plenty of time to make the menu. Expensive enough it is all this all inclusive but you have unfortunately the A-card if you don't eat anything animal because you don't have much choice at the buffet. Would be great if the chef continues to train in this direction there are so many great dishes you can make vegan. Not just chill sin carne and a couscous vegetable. Also so "meat substitute" which comes close to the "original".

Children are the focus and that's how we want it, so we like to go here. Happy children are our destination on this trip and so it comes every time, be it with sunny bunny and pinky bunny dancing, crafting, the delicious food, the drinks, swimming and sliding, mobility equipment in the basement, Kasperl theater, Bobby car, touch me monitors, darts, hockey and billiards as well as table tennis tables , Carrera track and much more.
It is built and thought out by people who have a clue (think they are parents themselves). It is safe and child-friendly, pure fun is offered, from baby to teenager there is something for everyone and there is plenty of entertainment offered so the kids will not get bored so quickly and the iPads will be forgotten and put away for a weekend.
On the side, you can watch the children play with a glass of wine, join in, or have them looked after by others. The right thing for every mood.

The Sonnenpark Hotel is the best family hotel we know. It is constantly reinventing itself and, although we have been there 12 times, we always discover something new! This year a new theater tent was added - the free program there - from musicals to magicians - was varied and there was something for everyone. The hotel staff is very consistently made up of the same employees. Everyone is always in a good mood, friendly and really fulfills every wish. For example, you can choose from 7 different pillows - to sleep even more restfully than you already can. It is quiet at night - you can't hear the street etc.!

This is the best children hotel we ever stayed in! Simply PERFECT in every aspect: children programs, staff, food, water-world, room. There are 4 warm Buffett meals included in the all inclusive room category. There is buffet for adults, toddlers and babies too. The food is organic, there are many vegetarian and vegan options too. The personell is attentive, genuinely friendly especially with children. They are a well-trained team who are together for a long-time and make everything go smoothly giving the impression to every guest that they are special! The mascots are very cute the morning and evening dance with them is just adorable. Memorable place and experience for children and adults too. Many babysitter options are available for newborn and toddlers too! Our new favourite spot we will definitely be back!

Since our youngest is seven we did not try that anymore :-) The hotel has its own bathing area with nice pools and slides especially for the smaller ones. The bigger children (but also the smaller ones) will enjoy the Sonnentherme. With the largest VR slide, the longest and the fastest slide of Austria (and maybe Europe). Besides that a lot of indoor and outdoor pools and some normal slides. Just check their website for all possibilities. Both the hotel and the waterpark are very clean (hygienic), continuously people are cleaning. Also very safe with guards overlooking the pools. Rooms in the hotel are convenient large and recently refurbished (though before that they were also very nice). Staff is friendly and always willing to help you. In the restaurant, in the playing area, in the room and at the reception. Some special words for our waiter in the restaurant (knowledgeable and friendly), the staff at the VR rollercoaster (very client friendly, and very helpful with our handicapped son) and the staff at the VR slide (very helpful to our daughters).
