Probably the best B&B that we have ever stayed in! We were so well looked after by Pauline: a delightful person who patiently attended to us over our five nights stay. Amongst the choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurt and jams for breakfast was the bread and croissants, freshly brought from the local boulangerie each morning for breakfast that were delicious,...

Steven and Pauline welcomed us into their home as warmly anticipated friends rather than paying guests and went out of their way to make our stay an experience to wish to repeat. The surrounding area is a magical fairytale experience which Steven guided us through with his expert knowledge of the local highlights and we are definitely hoping to return...

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at le Clos Des Serenes in Lunac. Pauline and Steven are the perfect hosts. We were greeted warmly and welcomed into their home. Nothing was too much trouble for Pauline and Steven, they are very friendly and helped us enormously. The food was delicious and there was so much choice. The accommodation...

We spent four nights with Pauline, Steven (and Mooshy the beautiful Bouvier de Flandres) in May. This is a beautiful house renovated with lots of flair. Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Breakfasts excellent, and we had two evening meals in, thanks to the "Tables d'hote" - beautifully cooked by Pauline. As well as the lovely towns and villages there is...

We were really impressed right from the start by the warm welcome from Pauline and Steven. They both have a large fund of entertaining stories to tell while having an apero together, and Steven works in the local property market and knows a lot about the area. Pauline is really a very good cook and we couldn’t resist staying in...

Pauline is the best hostess you could ever want. Lovely accommodation, fabulous breakfasts and Pauline and Steve are such nice hosts that I really feel we made some new friends. We spent 4 nights in Lunac and enjoyed every minute. Nothing was too much trouble for Pauline who even provided us with picnic hamper and rug for a day sunbathing...

Oh my, the view! It is unparalleled. Watching the lazy cows in the pasture from the terrace with Pauline and Steven's dog, Moosh, surveying their activities, gave us a feeling of calm satisfaction. How could one help but feel serene? Le Clos des Serenes has the amenities you expect of a fine B and B - luxurious bedding, fresh flowers,...

We've just returned to a rainy, cold UK after five days in and around Lunac and I must record our thoughts on Le Clos before the rain washes them away. First of all, sincere thanks to Pauline and Steven (and their wonderful dog Moosh) for a thoroughly restful and memorable few days. We arrived as guests and felt like we...

“Don't worry which room you get as we used two of the three rooms available and both had lovely comfortable beds and beautiful views. Each had a well stocked tea tray and plenty of storage space too. The bathroom also had everything we needed and there were no issues sharing as there is a separate WC.”
