We're just back from a super stay with Mick and Sue. We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue and came across The Old Chaff Barn online as a local place to stay. We are so pleased we did! The barn itself is beautiful, wonderfully restored and cosy and comfy. We were met by Sue, who once we'd got...

As per the other reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay with Mick, Sue (and Treacle!). The B&B is set in a beautiful spot at the end of a private road, so very easy to switch off from the day-to-day and relax. Location wise its really easy to get to several local spots including Norwood House, Hardwick Hall and...

We stayed here on 15/02/16 for a romantic break on arrival we were greeted by Mick and shown to our lovely room. We were offered drinks and after freshening up went down to meet Sue and had a drink with them. A very friendly warm couple who made us feel very relaxed and offered to drive us out to a...

It was a wonderful weeks stay at The Old Chaff Barn. Mick and Sue's hospitality was unsurpassed. It was such an interesting visit as well, learning about all the history of the barn and their hard work restoring it. We were really comfortable and the lovely breakfasts were as good or better than any other hotel/B&B we have stayed in.........lovely...

Quite simply beautiful. All the reviews already do it justice. We where attending a wedding down the road and having the taxi ride to and from is worth its weight in gold. Mick and Sue are the perfect hosts and when it says home stay it really is. Lots of stories of holidays, life in general that makes it a...

My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at "The Barn" for two nights whilst attending a wedding in the area. We were struck by the warmth of Mick's welcome (Sue was away house-sitting, so we did not meet her on this occasion) and his helpfulness in insisting on chauffering us to the venue and collecting us at the...

A beautiful rural setting and interesting house. Breakfast was a delight and our hosts were friendly without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Old Chaff Barn without any hesitation. More a homestay than a B & B.

Upon arriving at the Old Chaff Barn we knew that we had made the right choice. Beautiful house and an idyllic surrounding. Mick and Sue were happy to accommodate and made us feel very welcome into their home even nipping us to the wedding venue at Norwood park and picking us up gone midnight. Mick is an early riser and...

Our stay with Mike and Sue was perfect. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights to go to a wedding at Norwood Park. We travelled down on the Friday evening and didn't arrive until nearly 10pm. Mike came out and welcomed us into The Old Chaff Barn and helped carry our bags (I do not travel light!) to our...
