This is a fine old place that has been converted into a BnB. Our accommodation was very comfortable; a spacious room, big bed, decent shower, all nicely equipped. A wall heater and radiator were welcomed as a winter defense. Out back, an old movie house has been converted into an arts and crafts shop, well worth browsing. An unpretentious and...

Owner Charlene made us feel at home though we pitched up with no reservation. We were allocated a spacious room with a door leading to the wraparound porch - all clean and comfy. The breakfast spread offered was with a personal touch. We stayed an extra night as we enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Karoo. We will be back!

We arrived at about 14:45 and were very hungry. Owner was very happy to help us with some lunch. We ordered a Smoked chicken salad and a Tuna and apple salad, which she quickly prepared and they were lovely; fresh and tasty. Great and friendly service.Well worth the stop.

We arrived in Uniondale just after 14:00 and found the owner of Bon Accord locking up but she graciously invited us in and prepared a wonderful Burger for us. The garden is a treat as well as the shop where you can browse around the old stuff from yesteryear.

All the necessaries required were on hand. Very clean and do not miss the Gallery next door. We were told the only place to have supper was...

We went in the café and shop next door. Uniondale is an odd little town. This place looked the most inviting place for a snack and appears to be a low level art and antiques place with a café. We sat in the garden and had a couple of excellent banana muffins (with cheese!) and coffee for not a lot...

Nestled at the bottom of the Otennique Pass is a town called Uniondale. This is a heritage town with one main street and in that street is this lovely Guest House. Bon Accord has kept the traditional look and is an eye-opener to Uniondales history. At the guest house we stopped for coffee and cake. It was lovely sitting on...
