Me and my partner are here now part way through our holiday, our review: Room 2* - Old in need of a revamp but they are ok. Food 1* - Not a lot of choice, not a lot of Greek food that we expected. Lukewarm and flys on the food which makes your choice even smaller. Drinks 2* - The Beer is ok but weak, cheap soft drinks not Coke or Fanta, more like panda pop. Anything nice you have to pay extra for, even bottles of WATER! That’s not classed as all inclusive in my eyes. Wi-Fi 0* - Does not work, had to go to a bar outside the hotel to send a message to complain to TUI & again to write this review. 4G 1* - Getting between 2-3 bars, but hardly works, cuts in and out - Currently with EE Pool 4* - Very nice pool, not very lively anywhere if you want the music, shame the Wi-Fi doesn’t work so you can listen to your own! Entertainment 1* - Nothing in the evening, given 1 for the live sports on the TV. Staff 3* - Bar staff lovely, reception staff we have witness fobbing off customers that the Wi-Fi is ok, and then did the same to us a couple of days later. Between us we’ve been to around 30 all inclusive hotels around the world, we try to go for a good rating hotel this was supposedly 5* it’s not, this is the worse we’ve stayed at in our experience. It’s not horrendous but also not always enjoyable due to little continuous frustrations at a time you should relaxing and enjoy yourself. As the other review said, if you can swap your holiday from here do it while you can.

Room Tip: Rebook somewhere else unless they can get the basics of all inclusive right.

Staff try hard. I get that times have been tough for industry during covid but seriously??? Food 3/5. Rooms 2/5 (generous). Wi-Fi is virtually non existent. Have to pay for most drinks in an all inclusive resort???? This isn’t what’s on the tin and I’d advise contacting your provider and rebooking while you can.

Nice hotel with variety of pools. Our 6-year old loved the main pool even though the temperature was quite chilly end of October. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. The food was quite good. Despite the condition of the concrete on the tennis court, we really enjoyed playing tennis. There is also a nice mini golf course.

We stayed at Gaia Palace for a week, last week in October. The hotel is beautiful, set out nicely in little complex types with their own pool and bar. The food was fantastic, the meats( so tender and tasty)were to die for. The staff were so friendly and attentive, especially Deka and Dimitri, always on hand to make your favourite beverage. The manager of the hotel was lovely, she came around on the last day, to say thank you for staying and even got the bar lady Deka to make us a cocktail free of charge. It was very quiet due to covid, but still very enjoyable. Fantastic service from all. We will definitely be returning.

We booked a last minute stay at this hotel. We had a deluxe room which was lovely but only the sort of room I’d expect from a 4 star hotel not paying extra to have this - I believe the other standard rooms needed an upgrade but they did have some benefits like a jacuzzi bath which is something you’d expect in a deluxe room if it was included in a standard. It had a great selection of pools with comfy loungers. The drinks were an ok selection - you have to pay extra for cocktail which are cheap at €3 and the staff really put a lot of effort into making them. The food was very average - there was some themed nights which were ok. The pool bar snacks were non existent but the cakes were nice! There’s also the option to play mini golf for €3 each but the course needs a bit of TLC but was still good fun. We went to a local restaurant a 25 beach walk along from the hotel called Tamtam which id highly recommended as it was so nice and such good value for money or you can pay €10 each way in a taxi into Mastichari which has lots of nice restaurants and reception are very helpful in booking a taxi for you. If you want to book any excursions we did the 3 island hopping tour which was cheap at €30 and included a private transfer to KOS town. You can book this in the hotel with the agent who works for Kos4All If you want to go into KOS I’d say to get the bus as it’s €3 each way and took half an hour and only goes from top of the hotel road so well worth it. Overall we had a good stay and please be aware that you are expected to wear a mask in all indoor areas unlike England. I’d recommend it for the price but it can be misleading that it’s 4 star plus when it’s probably about a 3 star so wish I’d read this before I’d gone to as the reviews are very mixed. All the staff were lovely and helpful and it was a great stay but I’d recommend a deluxe room as you get a private pool area with a pool bar too!
