Panormos is a small village on the North coast, with cobbled streets, little alleyways and a tiny harbour. Tavernas spill out onto the streets at night; others sit high over the sea and the harbour. It is incredibly quaint - particularly in comparison to the larger nearby resorts, such as Bali, which cater to the masses. The harbour has a...

We have just returned from Villa Kynthia and we didn't want to leave. Why?, we were made to feel like old friends, the hotel was just lovely, the breakfasts (made by the always busy Maria) were lovely, the rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish, the hotel was five minutes walk from beach and Tavernas, the courtyard and pool were a...

I found Villa Kynthia to be one of the most comfortable and hospitable place I have stayed. Special thanks to Maria who waited for us for hours after she finished work to let us in, get us a glass of wine and make us feel welcome after a long and delayed flight. Maria was fantastic and the room was perfect....

We stumbled upon this great value hotel and we cannot fault anything, truely fantastic stay. A charming, cosy and very personal hotel. It made a short stay in Crete completely relaxing. The swimming pool in the courtyard garden is like an oasis. When you step out on to the idyllic little streets in the centre of Panormos there are several...

We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay at Villa Kynthia. Breakfast is served in the beautiful and private courtyard beneath flowers and lime trees and we couldn't get enough of the delicious feta pie. The owner, and Maria in particular, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in Nefeli, although smaller than the other rooms it was lovely and perfectly...

4 of us stayed here for 8 nights. One couple in Pandora, we stayed in Artemis. From start to finish, it was a wonderful holiday. We thought the rooms were great and the location could not be beated. It is minutes away from the beach and the restaurants. The service was second to none. Special thanks go to Maria and...

We stayed a few nights in the beautiful Villa which is in a great little seaside village/port within an hour or so's drive of Knossos and some of the other Crete tourist hotspots. Maria was fantastic - very kind and helpful from the first minute and always busy! We also had some good advice from the owner including restaurants in...

We were looking for a relaxing holiday as we are expecting our first baby in October. Villa Kynthia nearly fulfilled our criteria. Located in an unspoilt village everything was really easy as there were a wide variety of affordable and great quality restaurants just a few steps away, in addition just a few meters away was an excellent supermarket. Villa...

We had a very nice holiday here despite my wife's having problems with arthritis in her knee. The staff could not be more helpful. A lovely courtyard in which we spent many hours just hanging out and taking the sun. The location is within 25m on the flat of two good tavernas and 150m downhill to two good seafood tavernas....
