Peaceful, comfortable little villa that has ticked all the boxes. Our second visit to Villa Kynthia and the high standards are still there. Lovely breakfasts with home made jams and marmalades made by Maria who looks after her guests with great care, and always with a smile on her face. Our room was clean and comfortable again. Karina made us... More

We spend a relaxing week at Villa Kynthia. As other guests have mentioned it is a quiet hotel despite being in the centre of the village. The breakfasts were superb and Maria was very helpful. Even in October there were plenty of tavernas to choose from.

Karina greeted us with a glass of wine and a smile. Just what we needed after arriving at the villa at around midnight. We sat in the charming courtyard surrounded by lemon and pine trees and the beautiful bougainvillea flowers that seep over the walls. We then went to bed and started a new day with a breakfast spread provided... More

Villa Kynthia is a perfect oasis of calm. We stayed in Pandora which has a small terrace - perfect for reading a book if you don't want to be by the pool. Maria is cheery, helpful and welcoming, and provides a delicious breakfast - try the local yoghurt & honey, fresh orange juice and home-made preserves. The rooms are all individually... More

We arrived at Villa Kynthia and we're greeted by the exceptionally friendly host Corina who then showed us around the small town of Panormos - our own private tour guide. She recommended places to eat which were all excellent. Our room was the beautiful Artemis suite, which had a stunningly comfortable four poster bed, several couches to lounge around on... More

Our second visit to Villa Kynthia and again a wonderful relaxing experience. The wonderful Effie has been replaced by the equally wonderful Maria who cared for us with skill and charm. The marvellous Karina suggested a days sailing and it was everything we had hoped for. We shall be back

Villa Kynthia is a delightful hideaway in the unspoilt village of Panormos. Rooms are huge, the pool a refuge after a hot day and the breakfasts are fantastic. The exotic Korina has her finger in everything, has great restaurant recommendations and knows everyone, and Maria is charming and attentive. Don't miss the yoghurt and honey !

Panormos is a largely unspoilt fishing village on the North coast of Crete. There are no nightclubs and a scarcity of teenage holidaymakers. Whatever rocks your boat, but this suited my wife and me very well indeed for our recent 10 day visit. Villa Kynthia is a haven. You enter into a tranquil walled garden that leads to the building... We stayed for 10 days at the delightful Villa Kynthia in the lovely unspoilt village of Panormos. We were made to feel so welcome at Villa Kynthia - lovely apartment, courtyard garden and pool. It was great to be right in the heart of Panormos - a lovely village with great restaurants. Maria made delicious breakfasts everyday including delicious cheese pies and cakes.
