Average room but you don't go to Atenas for the room. Great breakfast and lovely view from the well kept grounds and pool. The owner is well versed on the area and gives great suggestions on what to see and do while in the Atenas area

My wife and I stayed there in 2013 for about 2 months. I know I know it is kind of late to write a review but we had such an amazing time there that if I don't write a review, I feel ungrateful. What can I say, the view is breath taking, rooms are clean and comfortable and the owner... More

Vista Atenas is a real gem in Costa Rica. We live in San Jose so have traveled all over the country and this B&B is definitely a memorable one. The rooms were adorable and so comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious especially when served while looking at the gorgeous green valley below you. The view at night was simply breathtaking. We... More

Good location if you arrive from the airport and do not want to enter San Jose but continue your trip the next day. A great view and a very quiet area. Clean swimming pool. Breakfast only at 8am (could be earlier). Not all members of staff speak english.

I stay at Vista Atenas bed and breakfast since 2 days and I definitely love it! Close to town of Atenas, the place is on the mountain that makes it cool during the night, with a little breeze crossing the whole area. Vista Atenas has a very friendly staff, always ready and willing to help. It is surrounded by the... More

Beautiful view with amazing service. You are made to feel at home in this wonderful B and B. We arrived having booked the wrong day and for our sins were granted the best room with an amazing view. Rooms are comfortable whilst being in keeping with the surroundings. High recommend this place!

The Vista Atenas B&B was a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica's beauty. We arrive late afternoon after two long flights. The views were beautiful. We were greeted by Vera, the owner and Sadie. Both were extremely helpful in helping us to recover a cell phone left in the transport vehicle and a delayed suitcase. The setting was very peaceful and... More

2 nights at Vista Atenas just wasn't enough. Vera made us feel so at home in her cozy B&B nestled beautifully in Atenas, so as to make the most of the amazing scenery. Highlights were definitely breakfast (organic and wonderful fruit) and a swim at 6am before anyone else was around, in the infinity-esque pool. It is great that they... More

This place isn't top of the line in luxury, but it has so much character and you are treated with the most care one could imagine. It is a small place where the owners and caretaker give you all their attention and can make any arrangements you need. It is close by to the large city of San Jose and... More

The view is spectacular. The rooms are nice and the pool is so refreshing. The staff was amazing and the owner - Veda greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. We had terrific organic breakfast every morning. This is truly a magical place and we can't wait to go back❤️❤️
