Positives: Lovely authentic bungalow hotel, secluded beach, lovely pool area, beach towels provided, lots of Instagram worthy places for photo opportunities, area for massages right by the sea, varied breakfast choices, big rooms, nice dressing-gowns, safe for valuables, Smart TV, fridge, water replenished daily, outside areas were lit-up lovely in the evening, welcoming reception area, very helpful & willing staff, lovely food in the restaurant, big portions, good value bar prices, journey to & collection from Full Moon Party service available and close to airport & Bangrak Pier. They also provide airport transfer service before 4.30pm. Negatives: aircon was a bit noisy but didn’t stop you from sleeping, light came in at night through the glass doors (would be nice to have a curtain to pull over these) only basic toiletries provided, no cup in bathroom for teeth bits (we used a glass from the kettle area) and quite a hard mattress but they did provided a soft topper after the first night which was a lot better, Other than these small things, what a gem of a place this is!!! I’d return without hesitation.

Positives: Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful Location good for Gold Buddha and Wat Plai Laem Temples, as you can easily walk. Authentic Thai styling and nice views over the water Lovely coffee Great breakfast by the water Good swimming pool Negatives: Big one for us was that the bathroom facilities very limited, the villas are NOT on mains sewerage ( which we were not informed of prior to booking!, and was not on their booking site, not Booking.com nor Tripadvisor! The shower was very poor Noisy air con Not a swimming beach Need taxi or own transport to go out for food The immediate area is not great for walking around Overall the property a little dated and dark We left early, and thanks to Booking.com and the Villa manager we were refunded for the days we didn’t stay.

A secluded and tranquil little gem of a place. Really friendly staff (all, but especially Mina), good food, nice atmosphere and pool. 10-15 minutes to Chaweng beach by taxi. Great value and highly recommended. Will definitely stay again on my next visit to Ko samui.

The site is beautiful, all wooden, the room very large, the pool remarkable as in the photos, around the pool beautiful comfortable seats, lush vegetation, everything is very clean, beautiful view of Big Buddha, and the staff extremely helpful. Everything was a treat for the eyes, including the refined dishes where simple but very good dishes are served especially in the early morning the good breakfast by the Seaview was fantastic. Really everything was exceptional! Short walk to the 7/11 and some local eateries. A preserved place, nature, calm. Thai architecture is very nice. I loved my 3 nights stay, with a very good price while I booked early. I will hope to be back soon. I Miss the lovely pool.

It was my first time in Koh Samui and this place and I really liked it. Some rooms including mine have a private or a sharing pool which is great. The room was not the most modern but it has it's own charm. The staff is lovely and polite. They were working hard to take care of guest, the surroundings grounds and the pools. The breakfast is a la carte and it was delicious. One of the best things is to enjoy the views of the beach with the big Buddha and see airplanes take off or land, while having your breakfast. The beach is nice but not suitable for a swim. You can rent a motorbike at a cheap price from nearby and explore the Island. There's a beautiful Buddhist temple nearby which is worth a visit. If I return to Koh Samui I would probably consider this beautiful place again.

We found this place after we decided to extend our stay on Samui. We were so glad we moved to this hotel and were just disappointed we didn't find it earlier. The place has a classic Thai charm with wooden buildings relocated from up country. The rooms were comfortable and had modern comforts (TV/WiFi). Beds were a little on the hard side but they did have toppers that made them more comfortable. Pool is right on the water's edge and there Kayaks you can use for free. Finally the staff were amazing. Very friendly and hospitable with good English. They even packed a breakfast box for us when we checked out early to catch the ferry on our final day. Highly recommend this place.

Stayed here two nights with the family. Pros. Good pools. Big tidy rooms. Beautiful surroundings within the complex. Cons. Breakfast was average. There were just us and another family eating breakfast but they managed to serve us completely the wrong items. Bacon must have been fried for an hour. Upon arrival we were shown to a dingy room at the back which was not what we had booked. We had booked a room with two beds and a balcony. We complained and my partner was shown another room to choose, this time a room with one bed and a balcony. No good for a family of four. When i queried this the staff said they were waiting for us to choose between that room and another, despite showing us only one. So we asked to see the third option which turned out to be a huge apartment with 2 king size beds and a private pool ! Naturally we chose that. All was well until a generator from the next door hotel kicked that was behind our new room! The noise was quite unbearable in the room. The generator would go on and off all day and night for an hour at a time. Just feel sorry for people who will book this room in the future for a longer stay. Despite being advertised as Choeng mon beach, it is not so check the map before booking. The beach outside the hotel is unsuitable for swimming or even sunbathing. Naturally the hotel offers a taxi service to the real choeng mon beach. Despite the attractive views of the hotel and pool i cannot recommend this for more than a short stay.

My partner and I stayed here and I would thoroughly recommend it. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Apart from the main man on reception calling me a lobster every day! They provide inflatables around the pool and offer free taxi service to the beach. The fisherman’s village is 10 minutes away in a taxi which is fabulous for food drink and shopping. The rooms are perfect and kept immaculate. I would stay here again if visiting Koh Samui.
