The Culture Samui hotel is frequently lauded for its spacious and modern rooms with top-notch amenities, though some guests have noted less-than-ideal views and construction noise. Its staff is consistently commended for their friendliness and efficiency, contributing to the hotel's welcoming vibe. Situated in a prime location, guests can easily explore local attractions or relax on nearby beaches.
The vibrant atmosphere, complete with live music and a bustling bar, adds to the experience, despite occasional noise complaints. While the amenities, including private pools and a digital app, are generally appreciated, some visitors feel that the hotel's value proposition is undercut by high prices and certain amenities not meeting expectations. However, the hotel's cleanliness receives high marks, with the property being consistently described as immaculate.

We had an incredible one-night stay. Kwan is amazing; she had a little surprise for us that made our stay unforgettable. The beachfront pool villa was stunning, and we absolutely loved it. Room service was impeccable and very fast, and all the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly. The hotel's prime location, right next to the beach, ferry, airport, and nearby amenities, makes it perfect for all types of travelers.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to return just to experience the room again. The breakfast wasn't fully ready at the 6:30 am opening, but if we had more time, I'm sure it would have been delightful later on.

Modern hotel in a beautiful setting, right on the beach. There are restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, a 7 Eleven shop across the road and the hotel is just a short taxi ride to Fisherman’s Village. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed, mini bar, great shower and are serviced daily with a turn down service each evening. The pool area is beautiful and absolutely spotless, looking out over the sea, with direct beach access. The beach is lovely for a walk but I didn’t see many people swimming in it. The restaurant / pool bar serves good quality food and drinks until 10.30 each evening. All staff were really nice. The views on the terrace at sunset are spectacular and the hotel organises barbecue nights where you can dine on the terrace or the grass area overlooking the beach, with a violinist playing beautiful music. Good breakfast buffet with cooked to order eggs and iced coffees available. There is an App available for hotel guests where you can contact reception, schedule times for housekeeping, order snacks etc. Overall, it was a most enjoyable holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The hotel was quite modern and clean. Breakfast was also good with a sufficient selection of items. There was a possibility to order iced coffee and eggs prepared in various way. It never took more than 10 minutes for the orders to arrive.
Pool villa was relatively spacious and clean. The private pool was of decent size. The only slight issues we had was the smell of damp when the AC fan was at a lower setting, but when turned to a higher setting, the smell almost went away. Also the AC was a bit noisy, but did not really bother our sleep when we got used to it. I would also change the cushions in the outdoor seating area to water proof ones as the fabric got soaked in the rain and did not really dry out. Maybe cover the seating "pit" with a lid and put sun loungers on top.
Staff was nice and we had a fun chat about the hotel cat loitering in the complex. The app is also quite handy for ordering rides and requesting housekeeping. The hotel pool is also beautiful and big.
Overall a nice experience with a decent price tag.

I am currently still at the hotel and have been disappointed and underwhelmed However, before I start I must say the staff are very friendly
The hotel is direct on the road, however it isn’t that noisy, the choice of QUALITY restaurant’s on the road is non existent.
The deluxe room I booked looks directly onto air conditioning units not even covered enough by plants to disguise the ugly sight.
There is no poolside service despite charging a 10% service charge. I have not had one person come and remove empty glasses, plates or bottles for the last 7 hours.
There are not enough pool side loungers and families of 4 are sharing 2 chairs
Drinks are priced very high compared to other Thai establishments -580 baht for a vodka soda - but you don’t get the whole bottle just a splash.
Food is average and again overpriced. I didn’t receive any cutlery with my food and had to use my fingers.
If you haven’t been lucky enough to Experiance true Thai hospitality then this hotel is on par with a 3 star European hotel. For Asia this is an underperforming hotel that users have classified as 5 star - it is not

Myself and 19 year old daughter stayed 6 nights at the start of our first ever Thailand trip. We loved the hotel, we had a pool access room and it was wonderful to be able to walk out from our room for a dip or wander down to the hammock in the evening for a drink listening to the ocean. Nice cocktails, we made the most of happy hour. Recommend the sports bar over the road for cheap beers and cocktails all evening (100baht cocktails what’s not to love?) . We ate at all sorts of places but 2 highlights were secret garden (10 minute walk) and the Thai place just after the sports bar, left out of hotel with smoothies outside, had a lovely Thai meal there. We also had a few drinks at the boat bar, about 10 minutes walk from hotel (left) bar on the beach with great atmosphere. Also made use of food panda, huge select of cheap deliveries that were so easy to book, the songthaew made getting to fisherman’s village (or elsewhere) cheap and easy. The 7-11 over the road was very handy. All in all loved the location and loved the hotel, we’d definitely go back. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to, definitely best quality price ratio. Everything is exactly as advertised, just take a look at the photos - this is what you get. I saw some negative reviews regarding the beach, I personally liked it a lot, as it is quiet and relaxing. They have a very useful app, you can order basically everything there (trips, room service, cleaning, towels, etc.).

My recent stay at the hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel exuded a warm and welcoming ambiance, setting the stage for a memorable experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking ocean view from my room. It was a true feast for the eyes, and the fact that I received a complimentary upgrade to an even greater view was a delightful surprise. The breakfast served was both clean and satisfying. The hotel's location was a true gem, conveniently situated near the bustling Fisherman's Village and other popular tourist destinations. Exploring the area was a breeze, and I loved the proximity to these attractions. Although there was construction taking place in the neighboring building, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't disrupt my stay. The workers adhered to a schedule that allowed for peaceful nights and a quiet start to the day after 9:00 am. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the incredible value for money. u samui offers a fantastic experience at a very reasonable price. The clean and well-maintained facilities combined with the breathtaking views make it the best choice among the hotels I've stayed in Samui.

My husband and I stayed ten nights in a Deluxe sea view room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a balcony which was great to sit and relax with a wonderful view of the amazing view and water. We had breakfast included. I have a crook knee which did make it a little difficult getting to breakfast up and down a number of stairs. There was a good range of breakfast items available on the buffet including juices, pastries and breads, an Asian dish or two, sausages, hash browns, bacon, an egg menu cooked to order, salad, cheese, salami...a good variety to please everyone. You could order your hot Beveridge like cappuccino too. The housekeeping was of a good standard and all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to please. I loved the towelling bathrobe and beach basket supplied too. We ate lunch and dinners on a number of occasions but preferred to eat these meals outside the hotel which offered better choice and cheaper meals. Hiring a car was worthwhile as we were able to explore further afield. Parking was easy to find on the street. After seeing the rooms with their own pool we decided we preferred the sea view deluxe with the amazing view and more privacy,

This hotel made a mistake on how they advertised the room on booking.com. See picture below, you can see that the second option says that it comes with both bed types. There is no “choice” there. They made us wait an hour while they were “trying” to get in touch with the manager. We booked a room for 3 beds and initially were going to pay extra for a 3rd person to stay with us( the cost of their breakfast). When they made the mistake with our room we asked for a simple compensation for the 3rd persons breakfast and they would not provide it. A 5 star hotel does not try and fight you over a few dollars per night. They comp you without having to even ask for it. I would stay away from this hotel if you are looking for a 5 star experience.

Dear Eliana, Warm Greetings from U Samui! Thank you very much again for staying with us. Your feedback is extremely important to us, as it allows us to ascertain where we are meeting or exceeding our guests’ expectations and equally important where we can improve. Again, we are very sorry about the misunderstanding caused. Even though we tried to reached out to you prior your arrival via the agent messenger platform informing about the bed set up and fees for the 3 adults stay. Further we have reached out to the agent that the display of our bed types in rooms are clear. Again, we truly appreciate your valued comments, your feedback is significant to further improve our high standards and services.

This hotel should not be classed as five star. Ok so We arrived, no one greeted us or made us feel welcome. Unusual for Thailand. Hotel is right on a very busy road. The furniture in reception was grubby. Soft furnishings needed a good clean. Our ‘sea view’ room …well look at the pictures, if you stood on your toes you could just about see it above the wall right outside our room. ! Furniture in the room was tatty, bits broken. The balcony was about 2 ft 6in wide. My husband couldn’t sit on the seat as it wasnt deep enough to fit his legs. Not that we wanted to sit out there and look at a wall. When asked if we could move we were told there were no other rooms available. Staff didn’t seem to be bothered at all. Building work next door was continuous and noisy as was the noise from the planes going over. The pool area was pleasant but very stark, the white wall quite jarring and the music was quite loud.. not great for relaxing. The breakfast room is ok and staff there were pleasant. We ordered eggs Benedict which arrived cold and the muffin crumbled as we tried to cut it !!! All the choices were edible but not great. The outdoor soft beds were filthy. We decided we needed to move, arranging this with the agent. When reception staff became aware of this they were quite rude. We didn’t get any fresh towels on the second day,,we had to ask twice. It was obvious that they were talking about us as we left and arrived from being out. There were glasses and crockery left outside the lift for the 48 hours we were there. We were so grateful to leave this place. My advice, pay a little more and have a very different experience.

Dear Lynda S, Warm Greetings from U Samui! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced during your stay. We take all guest comments seriously, as they provide valuable insights into areas where we can improve. Regrettably, we did not receive any information about your concerns during your stay, and for that, we are truly sorry. Only concern your side was the construction noise from next hotel which is out of our control. Regarding the attitude of our staff, we are truly sorry for any rudeness you encountered. This does not reflect our usual standards. Our commitment is to provide exceptional service, and it is disheartening to hear that we fell short of meeting your expectations. We regret that you did not receive the warm welcome and service we strive to provide. Your concerns regarding the condition of the room, balcony, and furniture have been noted, and we will address these issues promptly to ensure a more comfortable stay for our future guests. Upon reviewing your reservation, we noted that you booked a Deluxe Room without a sea view. The room assigned to you aligns with the specifications in your booking. It's worth mentioning that the period of your stay coincided with our high season, during which our hotel experiences increased demand. Unfortunately, due to the high occupancy, we were unable to offer a room change during your visit. We appreciate your constructive criticism, and we will use it as an opportunity to improve. Once again, we apologize for falling short of your expectations, and we hope you will give us another chance to provide you with the exceptional experience you deserve.
