Overall, I would return to this part of the island and to Bo Phut resort in a heartbeat. Thank you to all of the pleasant, polite and hardworking staff for making our holiday an unforgettable one!
From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure your every wish or need has been granted. Every staff member you see will greet you with a "hello" (sawasdee kah/krup) no matter how many times you've walked past them that day.
The grounds are very well maintained to the point where it is always picture perfect. We even witnessed cleaning staff cleaning stones around garden beds by hand, there were thousands of them.
Sadly the Sala Thai is currently not open but L'ocean was there to look after our very demanding cocktail needs (the main man Eak is possibly the nicest person I've ever met) day or night.
Breakfast was awesome! Cereals, pancakes, sausages, eggs anyway you want, tomatoes, potato, noodles, fried rice, toast, pastries, salads, yoghurts, fresh fruits and juices. you were never short of choice and always looking forward to breakfast.
May I suggest for breakfast having the Thai scrambled eggs? I was confused when a fried egg in a pan came out with bits of meat, shrimp and sausage on the side however run with it. Mix the bad boy up with some fresh chilli and chilli sauce and you've got yourself a breakfast of kings!
We stayed in a Garden Pool Villa and now I'm ruined for life as now I require my own pool on every trip ever.
Room was cleaned daily which is much appreciated as you can imagine having your own pool does lead to a lot of time spent in the room therefore will get grubby.
Aside from daily room cleaning there is also a nightly turndown service. A really nice touch although probably not necessary I did enjoy those little things (slippers laid out, bed covers ready to jump into, tea lights lit, lemongrass oil burner lit).
Hotel pool is HUGE with plenty of chairs. Some overlooking the pool, some facing the beach. The ever present pool attendant was always there to open your umbrella or lay out your towel. Hotel also has Kayaks and Paddleboards ready to use for hotel guests.
Location is about a 5 min walk along the beach from the main walking street of Fisherman's village in Bo Phut, and with a FamilyMart close, you're never short of snacks and drinks.
All in all this Resort is Paradise, I cannot wait to return (and we will). Thanks to all the staff who made our trip so memorable.
The villa was enormous, very clean and the turn down service every evening was regular. The room was fragranced with Lemongrass oil every night and I loved it so much that I bought two bottles from their spa
Exceptionally well maintained gardens and a very clean beach that was groomed daily
Breakfast was amazing good especially the eggs station where you could have them anyway you like, even Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. Very well stocked breakfast options that were was refreshed immediately as soon as they ran even slightly low
The breakfast changed daily to different options, such as smoked salmon and the dinner was very good too - both with first class service
Good location to walk to Samui Walking Street Markets in the evenings which took about 10 minutes
Safe place to stay as they have security on the entrance and someone with a stop sign paddle would walk out and stop traffic if you wanted to cross the busy main road outside the resort
For us the outstanding staff at this hotel are Nick, the Manager, Jenny, Fak and Toy and we would stay here again. We highly recommend this resort to everyone and are not surprised it has won so many prestigious awards
A wonderful relaxing resort, & we’ve had an amazing holiday, thank you for making us feel so welcome. Thank you 🤩🥰
Great hotel with beautiful spacious rooms. Our room was on 2nd floor over looking the gardens with hit tub on balcony.
Staff was excellent always going out there way to help you. Especially the pool and bar side staff always went the extra mile.
Beautiful beach and sea.
Big clean pool and plenty of sun beds.
Hotel at night is a bit too quiet but was good if you want to relax, but plenty of options to explore the area.
Location is great 15min walk to fisherman village. Evening life is great with plenty of bar and restaurants to go to. Food was amazing. ( note everything bars n restaurant closes at 11pm which was good.)
Everywhere we go we always look for a Indian curry house!! Found one on main fisherman village street near beach side.
Beach front bars and sitting on bean bags on the beach was amazing with great live music.
Alternate day night market is amazing especially on Friday night.
Do get a chance to tour the island by private taxi for 2 for 8 hours for under £100 we used a guy name Tai (+66 95 404 4854) he was really good and knowledgeable of area. Flexible with location to visit.
Get a chance to visit Jungle Club views of harbour was amazing especially in Afternoon.
From my tour of Island experience Bo put was definitely the best locations to stay.
Other main locations had too many construction work and road work so would not enjoy the views.
Love the hotel. Loved the food and the people. Very friendly safe area. Would definitely go back with rest of my family.
We stayed on the Half Board package. Breakfast was sumptuous and varied and we could take either lunch or dinner for our package giving us flexibility with trips and nights out in Fisherman's village with its street market 10 minutes stroll away. The Thai menu at the restaurant (one restaurant SalaThai was closed) was extensive and delicious and varied enough for 12 nights there was also western food dishes as well.
Service from Eak and his team was always first class as was the poolside service from Mai who was ever attentive.
My wife and daughter also enjoyed the Spa treatments at the resort.
Front desk was always on hand for any problems and questions and organised our airport transfers in advance with timely email correspondence.
The beach was amazing and ran for as far as the eye could see in both directions and my kids enjoyed the free Kayaks on hand.
We have travelled a lot over the years but this resort was really first class and well placed to venture out on foot at night to Fishermans Village. We would certainly recommend to all friends and family and was a great base for exploring Koh Samui and only 15 mins from the airport ( no aircraft noise).
We understood the resort had a "sister restaurant" Krua Bo Phut ( which we did visit and was excellent with beachfront dining) ; if there was one enhancement staying on Half Board it would be great if you could "dine around" here on the HB package as well.
Special thanks go to Mr Nick as our garden villa was perfect in every way and special thanks need to go to the cleaning staff for the excellent job that they do twice a day!
We have never eaten so well as the menu choices for each meal were unbelievable. Our meals were made even more special by the fantastic restaurant staff, especially Mr. Nok and Nattie. Everybody in the restaurant went out of their way and nothing was too much trouble.
Absolutely everything is 100% in this resort, I would come back again tomorrow if I could.
If you are thinking of travelling to Koh Samui, then I would strongly recommend staying at Bo Phut Resort.
Thank you again Mr Nick and Mr Nok!!!
