I stayed 11 nights with my family (my wife and kids (3 years & 8 month)) at Seadance Resort. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute. The resort is beautifully nestled in the local flora and it offers all the comforts we wanted for our holiday. The real difference, however, is the staff - we were overwhelmed by their helpfulness & friendliness. Our children loved being pampered and entertained by them. Next time Koh Samui, Seadance again! Thanks for this great experience! Moritz, Malina, Katharina & Daniel
We loved this intimate, small hotel. The peaceful ambience, low mood music and genuine service was a welcome alternative to large corporate hotels. We stayed in room 24; the resort was well lit, no drainage smells during our stay and had a well designed outdoor bathroom with complementary mosquito coils. The restaurant food was well presented and it’s roof design is beautiful. All the guests shared similar values, the tip is to read the description and look at its location. It’s a perfectly acceptable walk of 15 minutes to Choweng Mon or there are flag down or bookable taxi options for those that don’t or can’t walk. The small beach is accessible from three properties, it has no sellers and is a back to nature version of the island. The staff clean up any plastic washed up daily. Swim shoes help but despite rocks it’s perfectly safe and easy to swim at high tide. The infinity pool is lovely and we watched daily yoga classes on the lawn. We also ate locally at Pui nearby to provide variety during our stay. Breakfast includes yoghurt, fruit, meat, cheese, salad, breads, an egg station and daily changeable hot dishes. Fresh coffee and juices. I’m not sure what other reviewers want for a daily breakfast but given the price we paid this met expectations! It’s a gem of a place, sadly in a commercial world these properties are rare. We will return. Thank you to all the staff, you are all wonderful!…
Me and my husband came on our honeymoon for 5 nights, it's such a wonderful place! Proper hidden gem! I was unwell for a couple of nights so we ordered room service via WhatsApp, it was perfect, food was amazing and the service was 10/10! I would definitely come back! It was easy to get mopeds, 5 minutes and they were there! Thank you so much to everyone there that made our stay perfect! Xxxxx
I don’t want to trash this place, I really don’t, the people there are great, they care for you and try to make your visit as great as possible. We got a villa with a private pool, it was big, spacious and gorgeous. It is true, like I read in other reviews, that the breakfast is limited and yes the beach is very rocky, you have to walk to a certain area for easy access to the sea. The resort is far away from the main roads and if you don’t have a car o motorbike you can feel secluded. But we didn’t care about that, the only thing we care it was of an awful sewer smell that kept creeping on us every night. Maybe the sewers were full because of the heavy rain or the pluming needs an update after the pandemic but it was awful, don’t stay at villa number 9, we told the reception and the only thing they did was lighting a scented candle. Again, the place, the food, and the people working in there are a 10, but sewer smell in the room is intolerable. Wouldn’t come back here.…
We spent an amazing 3 nights at this boutique resort. It ticked every box; beautiful room/delicious food/ amazing‘deadly’ cocktails 🙈😂. Most welcoming staff . From when we arrived we were greeting by our first name, making us feeling instantly welcomed and relaxed. The settings is just so beautiful and peaceful. Every member of staff went out of their way to always help us, make our stay very memorable. I fell in love with Nick 🥰🥰. We highly recommend it but secretly wanted to stay a hidden gem as we plan to revisit it again and again and again .🦋💚 It is definitely above a 4*. I love you all guys 😍 À bientôt Farida et shaka 🦋
What a gem this place is! This family owned boutique resort was the BEST place we stayed at during our entire 3 week vacation in Thailand! We felt at home at the Sea Dance Resort in Koh Sumui. The outstanding accomodations and warm hospitality exceeded our expectations. At arrival, the staff greeted us by our names and during our entire stay, we were treated as friends not just patrons. The resort itself is reminiscent of a resort we stayed at in Bali. Each room is a free standing bungalow with a private pool in front. We felt particularly lucky to stay the bungalow closest to the beach with an ocean view. We stayed with our two young children and the staff set up mattress for each child. Even with the extra beds, the room was spacious and felt luxurious. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean. The grounds and landscaping of the resort are amazing. The style and decor are beautiful and chic. We especially loved the main pool and restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfast including the fresh fruit and coffee every morning. Our favorite part of this incredible place is it's location on this very special beach. Being from Hawaii, it's hard to compete with our beaches, but this one is pretty wonderful! We spent hours walking and collecting shells along the shoreline. Our children enjoyed exploring the rocks and kayaking. We appreciated the kayaks and standup paddle boards the resort offered. We would gladly come stay again and recommend this place to our friends. Mahalo to Poy, Junior and the entire staff at the Sea Dance. The love and passion you have put into this place is apparent-what a magical place you have created! Value, location, cleanliness-all 5 STARS! Thank you and aloha, from Hawaii.…
I always try hard to be positive in my reviews, with Sea Dance I did not have to try hard at all. This is a wonderful, charming resort, a fabulous location, superb accommodation and amenities, great food and to top it all off delightful, friendly, professional staff. We stayed for five nights. The bungalow was roomy with a deck and splash pool. Sitting out there of an evening with drinks and tropical air was real paradise. Each bungalow is screened by bamboo plants or hedges. The dining area is an open-air round building with views over the beach out into the Gulf of Thailand. Breakfast was always enjoyable, a smorgasbord and a few plates of breakfast food and a bottomless cup of coffee. Service was always friendly, subtle and efficient. There is a large pool near the dinning area. I enjoyed an afternoon swim, a read and a snooze. The beach is very rocky and not suitable for swimming. I had a dip at high tide further up the beach. If you like, you could arrive at the resort and not leave for days and be content with eating in the restaurant lying around the pool or spend lazy days in the privacy of your own bungalow. We hired a bike which gave us the independence to visit interesting sites on the island, eat at different cafes and restaurants and sample Thai beer and cocktails at the various bars. Taxis are available and it is a short walk to the main road where there is a 7/11 and a couple of local eateries. Choeng Mon Beach is nearby, and it is an excellent and safe beach to go swimming. Poy and his staff are there to make your stay a total pleasure. For me it was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend.…
Me and my wife had a great few days at this resort! It is in a beautiful part of Samui that we had never been to before and we loved it! The room was very nice, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, good food for a good price, and all of the staff and management were really friendly and attentive!
We ha a terrific brief stay at Sea Dance. From the start we were looked after like family in a relaxed, friendly way by the magement and super-competent staff that should be an example to every hotel. Our pol villa was lovely, comfortable, well furnished and designed. We really liked the circular dining area with the views out to sea, and enjoyed a lovely dinner and delightful breakfast. Proper espresso machine coffee was a big bonus. The hotel for us was the perfect quiet, chilled stopover. Next time we will stay longer!
Very friendly resort for higher demands. Breakfast very good. Paid dinner also excellent (mainly Thai cuisine). Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of well-groomed nature in the resort. Quiet location.
