What a pleasant stay, we were treated with so much care and pleasantness, we will definitely be back. The breakfast was such a surprise, prepared and served by the hosts, and a large variety to choose from.

stay there with my family and felt like at home. smiling welcoming, wonderful service, fantastic public area which allow you to cook traditionally or in open fire with a potjie. all that with a great value for money. Even "Diezel" their cute dog, welcome you with a smile. I would highly recommend this accommodation for families.

We only stayed for a day and had a great time. The location is good and has restaurants close by. The breakfast is well served. What I liked most was the staff specially Sophie. She was kind and helpful at all times.

We stayed at The Village Lodge for just one night but we would have stayed more days, for sure, if we have could. Sophie, the owner, was absolutely amazing and she told us everything we needed to know about the apartment and the area. Diesel, her dog, was lovely and welcomed us when arriving there. And finally, what to say...

Our one night stay in the Lodge and also in the village was too short but will come again! We were surprised at the cleanliness the room as well as furnishing - excellent! The breakfast the next morning also came as a surprise regarding the volume, the variety and freshness of the food.

The Village Lodge is set in beautiful gardens, has charm and style in abundance, all the important things are spot on (great showers beds and airy spacious rooms), and the staff and management are brilliant. They helped me with Otter Trail transfers (and rescued the situation when I messed it up!), advice and general good cheer. Diesel the dog is...

Only stayed one night. Good for young people as had hostel like atmosphere and nearby bar but not for older 70 year olds like us. Also arrived a t 7:30 p.m. and office closed and emergency number on door not answered. after half an hour someone came and things straightened out but very unsatisfactory way to start after a long...

Dear David, Please accept our apologies for the check-in experience that you received when you arrived at the Lodge. We agree, not a good start, but we are glad to hear that things did improve after that. We are under new ownership and upgrades are underway, including new king size beds in Tsitsikamma (and other rooms). If you are ever...

My family group stayed here in Feb 2017. The rooms we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with fruit salad, yogurts, juice, toast, muffins and then a cooked to order breakfast. Lovely. A good location for Storms River Mouth, Birds of Eden and Monkeyland, also Natures Valley and Kuerboomstrand. Also Microbrewery in the village well worth the visit. Plenty...

The Lodge is very professionally managed. Rooms are a little bit small, but clean and basically equipped. The breakfast was excellent. The manager gave us helpful tips for Addo Elephant Park, our next destination. WiFi in the room was bad to not available. The available internet bandwidth was very small. The room's key fob is huge. That is a real...
