Comfortable and friendly hotel with a fantastic view from our 2nd floor room to the Scottish hills on the other side of the Solway. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anybody considering a visit to the area.

Stayed here twice while visiting friends in town. Lovely welcoming B&B and hosts are very friendly too. Both times we stayed in a very large clean and warm room with a big comfy bed, fantastic views of the sea and Scotland! (Had a choice of bath or shower too!) Hosts cooked our breakfast fresh to order and were really accommodating...

We were greeted at the door by the friendly, very helpful owner, shown to a lovely big room on the second floor with the most wonderful views (definitely going to request the same one next time we stay) and served an excellent breakfast next morning. Brilliant place to stay and in a great location.

Stayed here overnight visiting family. A warm welcome and a lovely, clean, spacious room on the second floor (room 7). Fantastic views of the Solway Firth. Great breakfast with knowledgeable local hosts.

Stayed here for one night while on a golf break. The large room facing the Solway Firth was clean, bright, and comfortable. Very good wi-fi and television reception. Lots of hot water for the shower. Full English breakfast was made to order. Good value overall.

The welcome we received was very warm and friendly and the hotel was clean and the smartly decorated. Our breakfast was delicious using locally sourced food and...

Booked at 24 hrs notice for two nights, via friendly phone call, & given family room as the only one available. Two.night stay, with most of the day spent in my room writing thank you letters. Needed a quiet break between Oxford & Oban, to start wind down following my amazing, surprising family 80 b'day celebrations. Room comfortable, quiet, clean, breakfasts...

This B&B is family run and has just been refurbished. We had a large, very clean bedroom with fabulous views over the green, across the Solway Firth and over to Scotland. The bathroom was large and the fluffy towels were pure white. We were offered a choice of cereals, orange juice and fruit for breakfast plus the usual bacon, eggs...

Only stayed for one night with friends while on a charity bike ride. The hotel is very big. We took up 5 of the rooms and all rooms were beautiful. One room was a bit on the small size but still adequate. My room was at the front overlooking the Solway. One word. STUNNING. The view was just spectacular. Really...
