The location is definitely worth a visit. Stay overnight to go with sunrise to the bulls party or do one of the several hikes. Saw a group of Giraffe with young, oryx and kudus on our drive to the parking area. The bungalows are good, bit dated but clean. Shower heads good do with a good cleaning. Food is very...

Everything about the Ameib Ranch is great. The rooms are comfortable, although minimally furnished, clean and cool even on hot summer days. The service is good and the food home cooked Namibian-German. Hiking in the area is absolutely fantastic - granite mountains with lots of rock-art. We were there in the rainy season, which was a super experience. We saw...

We camped here for one night. This is a nice camp site. There was just a couple of campers there beside us so we were able to choose the site we wanted. I didn’t look at all the sites, but they all seem to have nice trees where you can park your car under. There are also some shaded area...

We were looking for a day trip from Spitzkoppe and decided to visit Ameib guest ranch as we had seen an advert in which they had advertised themselves as welcoming day visitors. Looking to escape the heat we were hoping to find an oasis in Ameib guest ranch. Never before had I felt so unwelcome on holiday. On a scorching...

The scenery is very nice and its worth a visit for a daytrip or camping. Its otherwise a simple farm experience for lodge prices. Small pool, room with broken furniture, no AC, more or less clean and basic service. Which is all OK if its not coming for the price of a nice lodge. Enjoy the landscape

Their campsite is nice even though they are organized in a confusing sort of way. There is only one ablution block for all campers, so this might be annoying if the campsite is fully booked. They've got an exclusive swimming pool for campers. The Ranch is very beautiful and they have many fantastic hikes that you can do without need...

My girlfriend and I stayed here in mid January and had the campsite completely to ourselves. We got a map from the owners and spent our days exploring the various trails around the large property. The highlights included the hike up to Phillip's Cave, Bulls Party and Elephant Head. We loved the peaceful isolation both during the hikes and back...

Wow - I was very please with this fantastic campsite. Super clean and the pool was fantastic. Price was right.....just a bit out of the way to get to, but that's the way everything is in Namibia! Bring you own firewood if you want a fire. Restrooms and showers had good hot water.
