Great riad, decorated with style and attention for every detail! Might be hard to find but with instructions received beforehand we found it ourselves. Two lovely gentlemen running the place, served great breakfast, arranged a calechetour with Rachid, a great citizen of Taroudant... They even gave me a little birthdaypresent, so sweet! Also Henry showed us the souk and the...

Riad Maia is a small, beautifully decorated, efficiently designed and well run hotel in a quiet corner of the medina. The owner, Henri and his gorgeous assistant Mina, are friendly, helpful and hospitable. Henri can supply all sorts of useful information about the town and surrounding countryside and is happy to arrange outings if his guests want them. He arranged...

We had a really nice and enjoyable short stay in Riad Maïa, nested in a small backstreet at the heart of Taroudant. Quite well located, we perfectly got there thanks to the help and instruction of our host and were warmly welcomed by Mina who is absolutely lovely. We had a delicious breakfast in the beautiful verdant and peaceful patio....

The staff was excellent. The night we arrived, my girlfriend came down with a bout of food poisoning. The staff were very sympathetic and helpful while she was was bedridden. Although owner of the riad was not present, he video called to check in both days we were there. The owner and staff also arranged a private car/taxi to take...

One of the best Riads on our trip around the south of Morocco. Owned by a friendly Frenchman whom we spoke to on skype. The hostess was a lovely lady who served us breakfast on the patio. Although the riad is in the middle of the maze the Marrocans call Medina ;) it was very quiet. The rooms were lovely...

The riad itself was thoughtfully decorated, and meticulously cared for, but it was the hosts (Henri and Lutz) that helped make it such a memorable stay for us in Taroudant. From a delicious breakfast each morning, to good advice on what to see (nearby pottery village, Berber souk, tannery, etc.), to help in arranging different types of transportation for us,...

We are doing well so far with our choices in Morocco, and Riad Maia was no exception. The thing that was so cool about it was the way the Riad was set up: little nooks and rooms here and there, and the terrace is like three levels high, taking stairs up to one, then another, then another… We had the...

Nothing to say about this riad appart that is was perfect! One of our favorite during our 3 weeks stay in Morroco. It is a beaufifull riad (and the terrasses, wow!), the hosts were absolutely helpful and friendly (although we came for a few nights with 2 grumpy grandmas), it is located in the Medina not too far from a...

We had a wonderful time at Riad Maia (3 nights). We discovered the region and the city of Taroudant. The owners gave us detailed information about what to do in the city, but also about the possibilities in the region. They arranged a taxi driver from Imlil, but also gave us adresses to rent a car or where what to...

Riad Maia provided an excellent base for our two night stay in Taroudant. The French owners were lovely, though they spoke quite basic English (better than our non-existent French!), we enjoyed their welcoming personalities and good sense of humour. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean, of generous size and well appointed. The riad was amazingly quiet and also featured...
