Visited Taroudant as a break from Agadir. Travelled on CTM bus which turned up an hour late, so depite having replied to a courteous pre holiday e mail from Oumensour management enquiring if I wanted dinner, I arrived with 5 minutes till 12.00 cut off to order. Given the choice of cooscous or couscous I decided to decline and eat... More

W spent several highly enjoyable nights at Palais Oumensour in October. The traditional interior is exceptionally elegant, cool and relaxing. The sophisticated restoration of this lovely old town mansion makes it particularly pleasurable. Our room was very cool and spacious as was the bathroom and shower. It looked down over the elegant courtyard filled with native trees and shrubs. The... More

We had a marvellous 4 days at Palais Oumensour , a beautiful and spacious Riad located in the Medina and within the very ancient. town walls . Taroudant is a traditional and authentic Berber market town in the middle of the Souss river valley. It is a good place to best understand Moroccan culture , Berber souks and visiting markets... We only had one night there, but wished we had more. The "palace" is a fine structure that has been renovated as a hotel. Our rooms was big, had lots of character, and had windows onto the central area. The bathroom was also very big (though the toilet closet was too small for my legs!). They usually do a set... More

We stayed here for six nights thinking Taroudant would be a good base for trekking in High Atlas (it wasn't - try going to Tafroute instead). When we arrived we were struck by the beautiful hotel and the wonderful decor. It is very stylish and has a lovely courtyard. However, the staff do not speak English so unless you can... More

first of all sorry for your disappointment for theft but as recognize you didn't use the safe in your room. can you be sure that the disappearing money was lost in our hotel, before complaining or accusing the staff of other clients . The manager Merym and the public relation women Zhora spoke english of course not as well as yours... More

Palais Oumensour - Taroudant An impulse booking, the best kind, a quick browse through the Rough Guide on a lazy eve in Essouria, Mr M suggested a taxi to Taroudant. Palace Oumensour was very reasonably priced and looked beautiful. It didn't disappoint, a slightly peturbed taxi driver was led into the heart of the medina by a boy on a... More

This is a small hotel with a very lovely courtyard. In February the courtyard didn't get very much sun but we spent the day exploring the town instead. The rooms were comfortable, if dark. It was a very ni9ce place to spend an evening.

We were really very pleasantly surprised by this place - it is great value for money given the wonderful rooms and quality service. Lovely private setting with beautiful courtyard, great pool and quaint traditional hammam, very comfortable lounge areas with fireplaces and enthusiastic service from an efficient team of very friendly women. Tucked away in a quiet street but close... More

We spent three nights here and although it was cold, there was a roaring fire every evening in the salon. The in house food, including breakfast and dinner were excellent. Beer and wine is also available (not easy to find inTaroudant). The staff (mostly women) were very friendly.
