Vidited early evening and it was already busy. Good Loch Ness brewery beers and good fudh on thr specials board. Sur's soup was enough for a main course! I had a local speciality with haggid & Whisky sauce, filling and flavoursome.
The Kilmartin is in an area of outstanding beauty & the hotel itself is clean & comfortable. Room I stayed in was in need of refurbishment & there was a notice to say that refurbishment was being carried out but it was a stunning view...More
Arrived about 2 pm and two of us had a late and nice lunch. Good selection on menu and we had starters, main courses and various soft drinks and 2 cups of coffee each. All fine. Worked out about £20 each.
Stopped off to have meal in the bar, last minute thought. Main was nice, but overpriced. Dessert okay, but it was definately shop bought and for nearly £6 would definately expect homemade. Won't eat there again, unless they were to bring their food prices down.
