We passed by as a nearby famous restaurant was full and were very pleasantly surprised. The garden is very peaceful and lunch was of a very high quality with a varied menu. Service was excellent. If you are looking to eat or stay in the deep Schwarzwald, this is highly recommended.

Just had a week in this hotel with 6 of my biking friends, Jane and Rob were fantastic and made us feel like part of the family. Rooms were very clean and airy, breakfast was enough for the biggest of appetites. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks Jane and Rob.

We took a group of school children to Germany on a concert band tour. Landgasthof Roessle was a second choice hotel after the original hotel closed for the summer, however it should have been our first choice all along. Jane, Rob and all the staff were so accomodating, keeping us staff supplied with tea and the children enterained with Pool,...

Just returned from a short stay here and really felt like one of the family. Not flash, but just has everything you need. Jane, Rob and trainee meet-and-greet Gustav the cocker spaniel work incredibly hard to make you feel welcome - any questions just ask and they do their best to help. (Eg. directions, paperback books, food requirements etc. etc.)...

I can honestly say that staying here made our visit to the Black Forest much better than it would have been otherwise. Rob, Jane and Gareth went out of their way to make us all feel like family. Their intimate knowledge of the area and it's attractions was the key to making the most of our stay in the Black...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here in July. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had supper on all 3 nights and enjoyed all of the food, especially the grilled meats and ice cream and fruit platters to share on the last night. Some of the servings were huge! The rooms...
