We had a spectacular visit to this incredible hotel with stunning views of the desert. The best part of the stay was the incredible service by the wonderful team including our epic guide (Floyd) and our most hospitable butler (Hilma). Both were warm, welcoming and had wonderful senses of humor. We would highly recommend the experience and our wonderful hosts.

For a special triple anniversary we wanted to give a once in a lifetime two-week experience to our family of eleven, ranging between 3,5 and 70 years old. Our two day stay here was one of the experiences that made it unforgettable. Having traveled several deserts, this red one is very special. Most important, all the rooms of the lodge...

After a very long drive from Swako, we finally arrived in this terribly bad indicated lodge. The welcoming was warm and personal, we immediately felt at home. Great place, a bit weird from artistic point of view but everything was so professionally good organized, we unfortunately stayed only 1 night, but we went out on Quad bikes in the rain,...

The views that you get of the desert from this hotel are just breathtaking and very hard to explain unless you´re there. + The hotel has very few rooms (I think there are 10), all of them very modern and each of them faces the desert. When you wake up, the first thing you see is the desert with its...

I now know what it is like on Mars, not the hotel , the landscape ! I wanted deserted desert and that is exactly what i got. Staying here was really excellent , the staff absolutely make it very special. The lodge was perfect with the accommodation extremely comfortable. The only reason i awarded it 4 out of 5 is...

From the moment you arrive (by plane to its own airstrip or by road if you are intrepid enough to make the 5.5 hour drive from Windhoek as we did) you are made to feel most welcome. The lodge hosts are like one big family and they make you feel part of it. You are allocated a host butler and...

Choosing this location for our wedding was an easy choice to make. With the spectacular vistas and truly unique red sands we knew that this spot would be incredible. What we could never have anticipated was the effort, care and ultimate service that the staff provided. From the moment we arrived we were treated like gold! Our butler Maretha went...

What a fantabulous place-super staff, from you personal guide to butler come waiter-the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, our guide Tertious was very good as was the waiter/butler Franz-the quad biking was exhilarating as was the air balloon trip predawn over the dessert. Te accommodation was comfortable and the sweet spot was a huge window/pane of glass...

We stayed at the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge for 2 nights. After a warm welcome we were shown into the room, where each of the ten rooms is a separate building. The room is huge, with a separate terrace for both the sitting / eating table and two chaiselongues on another terrace. The combined living and sleeping room is built in...
