We spent one night at this hotel during a 13 days trip through Creta (5 hotels). Although the room was large and equipped with a kitchenette, the lack of toiletries, its location in the middle of nowhere, and its distance from the beach do not justify the price (80 Euros per night without breakfast). We were happy that our trip...

We stayed a week in Kallicrates village in Frangokastello. Beautiful and peaceful place. Very nice rooms (studio) with balcony. Huge pool and big garden. Close to the sea. Nice breakfast. Warm wellcome by Antonis, the owner. Small family business. A perfect place to relax. Antonis and his family helped us with tips for and reservations of restaurants. Parking for car....

Perfect property with friendly hosts! Helpful with local restaurant tips and other advice. Spacious and comfortable room. After day at beach, can relax by pool for evening drinks. Close to beaches. Want to stay longer than 3 nights that we chanced upon! Skip Chora Sfakia and stay here instead! Perfect stay.

this is a great place - the gardens, pool and bar/cafe are very attractive and well maintained. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the mini-kitchen was equipped with everything you could need for a short stay. The view from the balcony toward sea and mountains was beautiful. We had the best club sandwich in the poolside bar! Owner...

We only had a single night stay at Kallicrates Village. This family ran complex is very welcoming and beckons for a longer leisurely stay. The beautiful grounds are kid and family friendly, and while we were traveling as a couple, I could not help but to think that this would be an ideal spot for a family reunion. Our room...

This is probably one of the best places we have stayed at for a long time - lovely location (short walk to the beach and to the best tavern in the village), lovely people (run by a family), excellent value, and very helpful with suggestions for places to see, and eat. Of course, their own bar was very nice, with...

My husband and I recently stayed at this property on the southern coast of Crete. We could not have been happier with our stay at Kallicrates Village. The owners ensured that our every need was looked after, the studio apartment was exceptionally clean and functional. We will be sure to return to Kallicrates Village and also recommend this property to...
