I was part of a group of 12 that stayed ar this Villa at the beginning of July, my first visit to Tobago & we were all blown away by this magnificent villa that sits right on the Most amazing beach. We were greeted by the estate manager Glenford whom was extremely helpful, advised us the best restaurants to visit which were close by & all were outstanding ( The Sea Horse was a particular Favourite of mine) he also arranged a Tour of the Island & a visit to the Rain Forest which is a must do. The Villa was very spacious & Clean with outstanding Balconys & the Swimming Pool was perfect. Tobago is a must visit Island & a better place to stay could not be found & would definetley come back in the future.

The excitement started as we flew in over the Caribbean Sea and saw the tropical paradise of Tobago. The journey to the villa was a pleasant 40 mins. We were overwhelmed by how impressive this house is (the pictures we originally saw do not do it justice) it has to be seen to be believed. The house I would say has been built in a colonial style. It is immaculate and has been designed to be beach friendly style living. The veranda was a great area to sit and eat while recovering from the hard day by the pool or exploring the beach. The locals are of a very friendly disposition and time does not seem to have much meaning. They work on hours not minutes. The local fruit shop said they opened at 2pm so at 2.30pm the shop was still closed and I saw the owner of the establishment and shouted through "I thought you open at 2pm ?" she replied "Its still 2". Thats when I knew I had to calm down and relax lol. If you like golf then there is no golf course that I have been to that can match the views of Mount Irvin. We were escorted around the course by a local called Alistair. Thanks to him we found every ball that went into the rough. He has the eyes of a hawk. Definitely take lots of water with you when playing golf here as it is hot. The house is on the Caribbean Sea side of the island and has calm crystal clear water. The other side of the island faces the Atlantic and the Sea there is more choppy type waves. We went on a few trips around the island and it really is a true unspoilt dream destination. The staff which looked after us there were very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble for them. In particular Lenford who is a walking encyclopedia about Tobago. They even did some baby sitting for us so we could go out and sample some of the local 150% proof rum. No wonder everyone is so laid as I couldnt move for a few hours the next day =) If you are looking for a complete escape from normal life then this is the place for you. I am sure we will be going again as it may be a little island but there are lots of places to see. …

Group of 27 Business School Students (we rented Mirage; Pellicano and Hibiscus - both next door) Property: Perfectly located on the beach (by which I mean walk out the gate and onto the sand). The villa is tidely ticked away with access via a private (and small) road away from any hustle and bustle (not that there is much in Tobago) which you would find in the busier Bon Accord adn Crown Point areas. This made for amazing privacy of our group time and comfortable relaxation under the stars at night. House: I found the condition of the rooms to be somewhat understated by the photos - by which I mean - the reality both in terms of size and maintenance was much better. Very spacious and comfortable - we felt like we each had our bits of the house...and some that in my three days I didnt even have the time to explore - like the pool table and mini gym downstairs! Staff: Again another area where this villa shone. Very friendly and attentive housekeeping staff went about there daily activities without even a whisper . But if something was required they were there in an instant and were most pleasant and helpful. Special mention should be made of our outstanding agent Gillian Connelly, who has an intimate understanding of all the properties, the people and the services which one can access in the area. She not only organized the villas, but gave outstanding recommendations for restaurants, transportation providers, caterers and activity directors (Jay) - all of whom were her personal friends and who were much more cost effective and pleasant than their competitors (I speak from years of experience visiting Tobago). I would highly recommend all three of these villas, and that you book through Gillian - gillian@tobagovillasareus.com. Enjoy your trip - we certainly did!…
