We have stayed here every January for the last 4 years. We are so glad we found it (through its great trip advisor reviews) We have our own hotel & restaurant in the Cotswolds in England& so understand & really appreciate what a great job Ancle & his team do. Each trip we catch up with many regular guests who...

A couple of views of Castara Bay in front of the Naturalist Beach Resort. Ideal for snorkeling, the gentle rolling waves were music to our ears. Suites from US$60 to US$250 per night, and right on the beach could be one of the best value resorts in Tobago!

I have just read a recent review by dsan2, wherein he/she complains about the attitude and lack of availability of the owner and staff. As a repeat visitor to The Naturalist, I must say that these comments puzzle me. My husband and I have been to this little hotel many times -- our 11th visit is coming up in less...

Crow's Nest is a very small room with a nice sized, private veranda. We had an excellent visit in Castara, staying at the Naturalist. We could hear the ocean at night, could see it from our window next to the bed, and saw a million birds in the trees outside our windows, including a Little Blue Heron & a Yellow...

Staying at the Naturalist the last several years with my family has been an incredible experience. The Naturalist is located right on a picturesque and stunning Caribbean beach. The town of Castara is a fun and beautiful beach town with true local flavor. The water is ideal, the sunsets breathtaking and the vibe so relaxed. If you truly want to...

As a solo female traveller in my 40's, I couldn't have made a better choice than The Naturalist for my last 4 night stay in Tobago. It's a beautiful place with a variety of room types and sizes. I stayed in the Tuna room, tucked against the rainforest side with a great veranda for bird watching, and the sounds of...

I stayed at the Naturalist Resort for three days and it was fantastic! The rooms were very nice, clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The manager/owner was pleasant and approachable. The local breakfast was great. I really like the view of the resort. The board building was built beautifully and it is so attractive to look at. The residents were...

We stayed here for four nights over a 2 week visit to Tobago. We loved Castara itself, and it was our favorite town - very chill, good food, uncrowded and great beach, and friendly locals. The hotel is at the top of the beach, and this was awesome. We stayed in the Dolphin room. It was simple, clean, and functional....

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback based on your recent stay at our establishment. It is very pertinent to note that erroneous claims made greatly misrepresent the ethos of our organization as we strive to provide superior service to all of our guests. As such, issues regarding the toilet were resolved urgently. In addition, the bed in...

Excellent basic accommodation on the beach. What do you want? ... Double bed with nets and ceiling fan over and a single bed which is great to hide your suit-cases under. ... advisory tip ... because you are so close to the sea I recommend you take plastic refuse liners to put your suitcases in otherwise the zips will seize...

Wonderful place to stay. No hassle, very relaxed and a beautiful beach right on your doorstep. Self-cater or eat at restaurants all in walking distance. Hire a car hassle free and drive around the Island for the stunning views or go for a swim out your front door. Great wifi
