The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a bure which was well maintained and cleaned every day. The beach is lovely for swimming (not much to see in terms of snorkeling compared to other areas of Fiji). Food is good - eggs, cereal and pancakes for breakfast then Fijian for lunch and dinner. No snacks or drinks...

We chose Oarsmans Bay as our family holiday destination given that it was owned and run by local villagers as well as being more basic to give our children a bit of perspective on how good they have it back in Australia. The resort is very basic but more than adequate for a quiet relaxing holiday location. Our accommodation was...

Great view of the beach from our bure, very basic bure, and for the price we paid this was great, however, the mandatory food charge was extremely expensive. We were also charged for internet, which was not provided, and then were charged a 2nd time for the small amount of internet access we did get. Meals were also very basic,...

I stayed 4 nights at Oarsmans. I got a Bungalow at the beach because the dorm is getting renovated. The bungalow was pretty basic and old, but so much better than what I have seen from the dorm - the facilities looked horrible. The whole place looks rundown and abandoned. Part of the staff was almost unfriendly and creepy. When...

I stayed for nights at the lodge. The beach in this place is gorgeous, the best I've seen. The coral is not as good as other islands in the region. I had mixed feelings about the management. Positive- I paid for a dorm but as they were renovating I ended up staying in a Bure and sharing with 2 other...

If you want to rest, to be in the sea, to have access to many other islands and the caves, then this is the place. Very nice staff, helpful and smiling! Easy to reach: terminal of the Awesome Flyer, seaplane or Sea bus from Lautoka.

The resort is located on a long, white beach with blue turquoise sea. The silence was truly magical. The rooms facing the sea with huge windows for great view the staffs beautiful smiles completes the day at OBL.

The resort is on a long and beautiful beach, and you can snorkel right out. For diving you've got to make an appointment with a diver's club, I didn't. The bungalow was very pleasant, with glass-louvred windows, great for ventilation. The food was OK. No entertainment, no alcohoolic nights, which was fine with me.

We stayed at this beautiful and amazing slice of heaven only a few days ago (from writing this review) and what a treat this island is. The Fijians running the place are fantastic, friendly and so accomodating. The views are breath taking. We booked a dorm room and we were upgraded to our own private hut. Thank you. The rooms...

This was our 4th stay at OBL and unfortunately the resort has lost its soul. When we arrived there were no other guest there ( the resort next door was full! ) it was like a ghost resort. OBR used to be one of the best resorts in the Yasawas, but now there is no enthusiasm, no entertainment or singing...
