We had a week in the hotel in November 2012 and really enjoyed our stay. The room we had was clean and comfortable with a useful spacious balcony and a sea view overlooking the small bay the hotel sits in. First tip of the review is to ask at reception for a tray and kettle to be left in the... More

If you're looking to get away from it all, this is it. Located not too far from the Airport and Scarborough, it is on a secluded beach, so it's basically private. Rooms and grounds were as pictured on the photos from management. Staff were good, food was excellent, though the wine list is wanting, except for sparkling wine, of which... More

The hotel is in a great location, with its own private beach in a lovely island cove. We stayed in room 24 and found it spacious, with a great balcony area looking out to sea. Watching the sunset from there was brilliant. The front desk staff were friendly and dealt with any requests efficiently. They also helped with restaurant reservations... More

The first thing you need to know.. this is a hillside property. If your are not in good shape, you will not be able to enjoy all they have to offer. For US travelers, it may take a day or two to get past no: iron, coffee maker, self serve ice etc... plan ahead so you can enjoy. The hotel... More

We had a lovely time relaxing and enjoying the views and the sea. The hotel is well looked after and kept very clean. The pool is beautiful and you often feel like its your own. The beach bar is great with cocktails and a great lunch. The hotel is located in a very quiet spot so you need to come... More

I stayed here for one night with a friend. The taxi we prearranged didn't pick us up and we had to find our own transportation to the hotel. Our room keys didn't work upon check in and the Internet is very spotty. Dinner in the nearby Havana cafe is a bit pricey but tasty. We booked a massage and I... More

Just returned from a wonderful, relaxing stay at Bacolet Bay. Having read some of the reviews which were less than complimentary and others that were enthusiastic we weren't quite sure what our experience would be. We stayed in one of the poolside rooms with fabulous views of the bay. Our room was just as expected, beautifully clean, well equipped with... More

Have recently returned from my sceond visit to this lovely hotel. Stayed in the main building and once again had a panaramic view. Wonderful place for relaxation. The pool area is a sun trap and the beach is safe and clean. Usually shared the beach with one or two others, otherwise my husband and I were like Crusoe and Friday... More

We stayed in a Bay Deluxe room which was poolside. Lovely views of the sea, but possibly lacking a little privacy as people come & go past your lanai on the way to the pool & the beach. The curtains weren't designed for privacy, just interior design. Otherwise, a lovely place to stay. The room was spacious & the bathroom... More
