This is a delightful place to stay . The apartments are rustic and charming with balconies overlooking a beautiful garden and the sound of the sea serenades you at night . Large bedroom with mosquito net . The small kitchen is on the balcony which is rather nice and unusual. We had no trouble finding the place due to good...

Forget about hotels...the concrete monstrosities...go for simple wood and glass...go for a simple bed and breakfast...with the normal amenities...Then throw in a cottage sitting in a rain forest...with the sea rushing into a secluded cove...what else could you want. Do nothing...read, eat, sleep and explore your surroundings at your own leisure.

Three of us stayed a night at this lovely location and a short drive down the street did some turtle watching at night. The beginnings of the Pariah Trail was a 20 minute drive away and we hiked the day after turtle watching. Ginette was very knowledgeable of the area and what could be done in the area without spending...

It was wonderful to sit on a little balcony overlooking the ocean to eat meals. A tiny kitchenette at the end of the balcony made self-catering easy. No a/c, but windows that opened wide, a fan and mosquito nets made sleeping comfortable. Jeanette was full of information and would have cooked breakfast if we had wanted it, and paid a...

The hotel is located right on the shore with a very nice viewing platform. Sitting there while enjoying the sight and sound of crashing waves is a wonderful experience. Finding the hotel is somewhat of a challenge, it would really help if the hotel's website posted a map. It's on a secondary road running in parallel to the main coastal...

The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and reasonably priced, the entire property is gorgeous, and the owner Ginette is the sweetest hostess you can imagine :) Don't miss having breakfast (10USD extra) on your own patio - it's worth it!

We could really recommend this this place, to all people who wants a nice and tranquil resort. The cottage we had was nice, clean, had warm water, good kitchenette and mosquito nets. We could sit on the veranda and look down at the sea and a lot of birds. The landlady was very friendly and service minded. A beautiful beach...

The rustic style accommodations at the Second Spring B&B were excellent. Ginette our hostess was genuine and friendly. The meals we had at the Second Spring were of local cuisine and delicious. With Ginette's help we enjoyed leatherback sea turtle watching, the sea, nature hiking in the rain forest, the fishing village, and swimming. The natural environment of Blanchisseuse is...

My husband and I only stayed for one (1) night but the experience was very nice. The entire compound was well maintained and beautifully landscaped, with terrific views. The room was very well decorated with local art and charming furniture. The kitchenette could have been cleaned a little. Overall a very good experience.

„Lamp post 191“ is well marked on the main road, but the „Guest House“ sign is somewhat inconspicuous. The studio in one of the cottages was cosy and spacious, the bathroom was nice and clean, although the shower was somewhat dark. The windows had no glass or flyscreens but wooden shutters to keep the sun out in the afternoon. There...

“With small children don´t take the cottage next to see because it´s steep. Bring food, you can buy fruit, buiscuits, beer and other things in a kiosk in the villages, but you have to bring food, there is only one restaurant and it is 25 min away. You can go to Second Spring by bus/ maxitaxi or taxi if you don´t have an own car.”
