We stayed at pasada al fonzo, the sister lodge of casa luna and casa nova. This was our first stop on a 6 month tour of South/Central America and remains a highlight. The airport pickup was cheap and extremely well organised, with Claudia phoning the driver to chat to us and check we were ok- immediately reassuring for our first...

Casa Nova was our first stay in all of Venezuela and enjoyed. As fairly all reviewers have said, Claudia makes the stay wonderful. She is knowledgeable of country sights as well as the logistics to getting and staying there. Claudia so graciously extends her advice and helps so patiently. She helped us with everything from restaurant suggestions, SIM cards for...

Casa Luna is clean and functional but extremely loud, especially at the weekend. However claudia is an absolute star. We would not have survived our trip without her. She organised a tour for us and then was always contactable for advice and help even after we left. Thank you so much claudia!

We've stayed at Casa Nova which is a sister lodge of Casa Luna. It is a nice placed, very near from the town center. It is run by Claudia who is available and very helpful! She helped sorting out documents that needed to be sent to France in no time! Thanks a lot!!

I visit Venezuela for work about once a month. I try to get out of town if I have a full weekend. Puerto Colombia is conveniently located near the Henri Pitier national part (though the town's beach is nothing to brag about). I have stayed at Casa Luna, and its sister hotel, Casa Nova (which is even better because it...

We stayed in Casa Nova for several nights in a room for three. After looking through reviews in the Lonely Planet the Casa Nova seemed exactly what we needed. And we weren´t disappointed. The place is charming, clean and nice. Claudia, the owner of both Casa Luna and Casa Nova, is a really pleasant and friendly person, who´s a great...

Claudia is a legend and I would recommend anyone to stay at any of her places. We chose Casa Nova as it is private and off the main drag through P Colombia, which I can imagine is very noisy. The Pousada is lovely and well kept, with a nice garden with two tortoises and a very friendly cat. Claudia also...

It was our first stop in Venezuela and we really liked it. We slept in a 4-person room with no air-condition but the only fan was ok to cool the air in the room. Casa Luna is a very quiet place so sleep quality was perfect. There is a possibility of having a tasty breakfast but if it comes to...

The place itself looks nice as it has a good common area with hammocks and a roof to walk onto but the room we had wasn't good at all. In this little town, at night people decide it's a good idea to hang their speakers from the boot of their car and blast music from it as loud as they...

I was happy to have selected this mid-priced option in Pureto Colombia. There are two stories of rooms at Casa Luna surrounding a quaint and quiet courtyard. The rooms are nicely appointed and have hot water, fridge, cable tv, safe and ceiling fan. Rooms and common areas were kept very clean and well-maintained. There is a patio in front and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Casa Luna converted in Casa Luna Alfonso. The spirit of Casa Luna is now in Posada Alfonso. The 7 rooms are set around a green garden, which is very quiet despite the location on the main street. The Posada provides a small kitchen, sitting area with two hammocks, TV and a book shelf. Most rooms are equipped with private bathroom and fan. Outside each room you have a table with chairs. The reception and the restaurant is located 100 meters away in the Hostal Colonial. ... more   less

“Casa Nova (also owned/managed by the same person) is just a block away and is much more quiet. You can book either Casa Nova or Casa Luna by calling the same number. Most up to date rates are apparently on their Facebook page.”
