If your on limited time while traveling the Garden Route run then this is one of two spots to spend the night. Game viewing on a shoe string I say. In terms of a complete product, very good. The staff at reception to the restaurant are friendly and go the extra mile. The buffet is also worth mentioning. Thx for...

If you accept that this a large safari park and the animals are not 'in the wild' then this is a great place. It is very well organised, the game ranger was knowledgeable and helpful and the food was excellent. The round chalet away from the main hotel was a great place to stay (although we didn't see any animals...

We stayed one night at this delightful game lodge as part of our tour along the Garden Route. Warm welcome, excellent food, very competent & knowledgeable game drivers, lots of animals at close quarters & lovely spacious rooms. Ostrich & wildebeest steaks, along with venison sausages and calamari were grilled to order for dinner. Breakfast was also great with a...

very good food, excellent ranger, not so much animals - but they're living in natural circumstances, min. 3 safaris to see all the animals. Arrival the first day before 3 pm, then you can make the first safari at the first day.

Dear Wolfgang Thank you for taking the time to review our lodge – we appreciate it. While our private game reserve is 3000 hectares (7400 acres) in size we are in a fynbos area where the carrying capacity per hectare is lower than that of other areas in South Africa. For this reason we need to carefully manage the wildlife...

If you're in Cape Town and want to see a bit of the Garden Route, this game lodge offers a great option to see African animals. It's particularly good because they accept young children, whereas many game parks do not. The animals are in massive enclosures mostly separated from each other, but the game drives are a lot of fun....

This is a smallish game lodge of 3000 hectaires with a small number of the main large animals you will want to see ie 2 elephants, 4 lions, 4 giraffe, 3 rhino, 2 hippos and a cheetah. There are also large herds of buffalo, springbok, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich and others as well plenty of smaller animals. Our guide was extremely...

We stayed one night at this delightful game lodge as part of our tour along the Garden Route. I wasn’t expecting too much from a lodge we could see from the main road, especially as we’d been to Kruger on our previous S African visit. They’d got almost everything right – warm welcome, excellent food, very competent & knowledgeable game...
