We stayed with our wedding guests at hotel Klockargården and it was terrible. Staff had no sense of service and obvious not been trained at all. Did not even serve lunch at the hotel, you would think this should had been communicated to us earlier, we did book rooms for our guests early February and the wedding was this last...

Stayed two nights in mini-suit but never had dinner in restaurant. Typical cute timber houses with old style furniture. Few small workshops för artists in pottery, clothes, smithy. 1km down the road you have a small sandy and shallow beach in lake Siljan. Very friendly staff. Drove us to Rättvik to catch the bus to Dalhalla in order not to...

Stayed here for 2 nights in the main building - first level upstairs. Room was light, large and airy. Bathroom was also large. Beds newish and fairly comfortable. Looks like it's been refurbished. Had balcony. Room was very light - found dark pull down blind on the second night. Slept ok but wouldn't recommend for a 'honeymoon' suite. Could hear...

Nice, but with few awful disadvantages I am really not sure about my emotions concerning this hotel. It is located in a beautiful place, nature is amazing. I do not know if this place is being visited by tourists, because in winter, when I was there, there were locals only. And my Swedish colleagues advised to visit this place. In...

Swedish collegues invited us to Tällberg, with is beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. For Finns the place is not so unique but I certainly understand it can be for others. Klockargarden is nice but needs updating as the charm doesn't stay by itself. Dinners were good and breakfast too.

We stayed at this hotel for my husband’s business trip. His room and meals were included in the cost of his conference; my stay was priced separately. Since we rarely pay more for me to stay in a hotel in the US – the extra $60 per night was pretty steep (our visit was during the off-season). Additionally, I was...

Tällberg is a rather nice place to visit, lots of confereces but you can sure enjoy a weekend there. This is the third place I stayed at in Tällberg, but sad to say, also the one with lowest standard. Had a room in the main building, very simple room - could have been almost any low-priced motel. Old and worn...

We stayed here when going to a concert with Jamie Cullum at the fantastic Dalhalla arena nearby. We had a Dalhalla hotel package with a large double room. The room was very nice with a jacuzzi, a cd player and a balcony with a wonderful view of the lake. The only thing that wasn't good in the room were the...

I always wanted to stay in this place over night, and my dream came true. It was a perfect evening with delicious dinner, tasty wine and theatre performance. “We stayed at this hotel for my husband’s business trip. His room and meals were included in the cost of his conference; my stay was priced separately. Since we rarely pay more for me to stay in a hotel in the US – the extra $60 per night was pretty steep (our visit was during the off-season). Additionally, I was charged $30 for lunch and $50 for dinner. We were given a very nice, large room with a living room, Jacuzzi tub and small balcony. The shower however, was just part of the bathroom and included a big squeegee to clean the floors following a shower. Breakfast was okay; but there were so many flies on the food it was very unappetizing. The grounds were very nice, and we enjoyed walking around or sitting outside and sipping wine. Every morning the building fire alarm went off because someone’s shower head was too close to the smoke detector and the steam set it off. But I won’t remember the hotel; what I will remember is how absolutely beautiful Tallberg was.”
