We were here for a drink as the weather was too warm and unbearable. We had local spirits and local bears with snacks and it was one of the best experience to spend an afternoon by the beach. It was a pleasant experience

For the past 6 years, my family and I spend our summer holidays at the Hotel Brown. We come here every year from the beginning until the end of August. We love the spacious garden rooms under the shade of its large trees but we also love the sea view rooms from where we enjoy the picturesque sea front of...

Although I had booked a room through the phone and I had given them my credit card number, when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist really made me feel unwelcome. Upon seeing us (two males), she insisted that the room we had booked would not be appropriate for two , because it had a somewhat narrow double bed. When...

First things first, sleep quality was excellent. Great mattress, bedding, pillow, air-conditioning, double glazing and window blinds. Room also provides a mini fridge. Everything, from the floors and common areas to the room and the amazing gardens is immaculately clean, tidy and very well looked after. Also, very friendly, discreet and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant next door is also a...

The hotel was very basic but with the most beautiful view of the sea when you had your breakfast. The owner was very nice and helpful but as with all things you get what you pay for. We enjoyed are stay but we was glad when we was away from our room. Breakfast was excellent for the price

Located in a perfect location (central but with ability for parking in the area) the hotel offers very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Nevertheless, a renovation should take place to offer more modern equipment and improve style to match the history (I reckon a large one) of the hotel.

Putting away some deficits, i.e. no elevator, occasionally rotten old furniture like a sofa that broke down as we sat, the bad smell rushing into our nostrils from the neighbours' primitive sewage tanks etc, I nevertheless recommend strongly a stay there, because the location is strategic, the breakfast very good, the reception absolutely helpful, the gardens a paradise, the restaurant...

In spring we usually travel to Greece, hopping from island to island. Visiting Aegina is than required. At least for the two of us. And when we are on Aegina Island we always stay in one of the beautiful garden bungalows of the Brown Hotel. Extremely centrally located, yet very quiet! Absolutely the most comfortable place to stay in Aegina-Town....

My sister and I live a half a world apart, she in Africa and me in the US. This year we planned our sisters vacation to meet in Greece. With a few days in Athens and then a week on Aegina island we loved the Brown hotel. No frills and as the hotel had just opened for the season we...
