Accommodation was basic and comfortable. Lunch and dinner was really good, keep up the good work. We felt safe there with the general police force guarding the island. Island is beautiful and a unique place for the turtles to land and lay their eggs. Really an educational experience (it was a school field trip) talking to the staffs and helping...

We were expecting basic accommodation, but the room we had B2 was disgusting. The floor was dirty and full of sand, the bathroom was less than basic. One tap was rusted and corroded and could not be turned on. We had cold water when we arrived but by the time we had waited for the turtle experience and returned to...

We arrived to the island by speed boat. An hour long journey and rather smooth compared to the boat rides I had in Semporna and the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park in KK. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast were pretty good and filling (don't go expecting a 5* restaurant though). Vegetarians are catered for. A small bottle of water is provided at...

I've rated this based on the overall experience rather than the resort itself. Our room was very basic and the bathroom wasn't very clean...but the turtles were amazing. We watched a mother turtle lay eggs, then released baby turtles into the sea. This all happens at night so during the day is beach/relaxing time. We went for a swim and...

As others have said, this is not about a "resort"; it's about an amazing experience with turtle conservation. I LOVED the experience. The rooms ARE very basic; but at least the AC/ceiling fan worked very well. Since the room is so tiny, it doesn't take much to cool it down. GO if you really want a unique wildlife experience. I...

as others already mentioned, the accommodation is very basic and not very clean. However, this is a sanctuary which is designated to save the turtles and not a holiday resort. The turtle encounter consists of three parts: watching a turtle laying eggs on the beach at night, watching the ranger digging a hole in the hatchery to breed the eggs...

I felt privileged to see the Turtles but would not recommend it or do it again. I was shocked at the amount of rubbish floating around the island. The room was very very basic. I knew that it was not about the Accommodation experience but it still shocked me the condition of the bathroom and uncomfortable beds. The food at...

Pleased we made the effort to come to this island for the Turtle experience. Had our own personal guide Shirou who was very good. The accommodation was basic - no hot water, broken and stained tiled bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan. Basic buffet meals were included. Interesting to find there are armed guards on the beach and accompanying us...

Absolutely loved this visit! It's bout a 1 hour boat ride (on a perfect day...which we luckily had) out to Turtle Island and then you arrive on this tiny piece of paradise! Scenery aside, the work being done here is just incredible and obviously successful as they have baby hatchlings emerging all the time! It was so nice to be...

I was worried about this not being a real conservation effort and more geared around money but this 1night trip well exceeded my expectations. The guides were responsible and professional in allowing us to watch the night time turtle landings and egg laying. We kept our distance and didnt disturb the animals. Learning about the hatchery and watching th e...
