Came here on a trip organised by a supplier on a business trip - the location and setting is brilliant - and a beautiful hotel. Quality of service was excellent and the room was of a very high standard. Am planning to come back again with my family!

It’s a bit different to the average hotel you might get in Britain, but in a nice way. About 4 hours by car north of Helsinki, rustic is probably the best description as far as the public areas are concerned. Huge knurled timbers abound everywhere, starting with the massive bows of an ancient long boat suspended above the reception desk....

Me and my 130 JCI friend had a perfect conference in Järvisydän. The place is amazing with it's luxorious hotel and beautiful location on the shore of Saimaa. I imagine myself coming back on summer time with family to explore the Linnansaari national park.

We stayed here for one night with our company - day full of activities, sauna and food. The location itself is great and so were the rooms (we stayed at the hotel, which was new). Spa was under construction and the only weird thing about the room was the lack of shower curtain/wall. The staff was not up to standard...

Järvisydän hotel & resort is set in a dreamland, to say the least. From the time you enter to the time you exit this experience, your eyes will be in for a treat. We were there for a official trip/get-together and were booked in the wood-cottages. The cottages in itself are stylishly constructed with ample space, quality furniture and close-to-nature...

Very good resort for relaxing. Spacious rooms, good restaurant and some activities. One surprising weakness: there is just some routes for outdoor walking. Breakfast is quite basic, traditional and no options for vegetarians. Building is designed well, but service could be better. Spa wasn’t yet in use and construction disturbed somewhat.

A smashing and beautiful place to see. Exterior made mainly from logs lifted from the bottom of Saimaa. The same look&feel continues inside. Visited the place just for coffee, but this must be an amazing place during Christmas and new year when it's dark in the night and all is lightened. There is still some construction on site, SPA is...

The owner must have had a good vision while planning Spa Jarvisydan. Very nice location in Lake Finland. Hotel and cottages are new but looks really ancients. You feel you have travelled thousand year back in time. Food is excellent traditional finnish food with a twist of present day. Staff very warm and friendly. Definitely a worth to visit!

We spent two nights here in June 2016. The cabin was very good, with a reasonably equipped kitchen, sauna, decent spar bath, shower and comfortable beds. Heating the large main room was challenging and we had to wear fleeces to stay warm. However the environment beyond the cabin had to be seen to believed. We were staying on a building...

Dear Sirs, thank you for your feedback and we are very very sorry, that you had to see the worst time of our construction and investment work. We tried to inform all our customers in advance, but in this time, when there were more than one retailer in between, the information didn't reach you in advance - and we are...

By the beautiful lake Saimaa you can discover something totally different. The hotel was beautiful with big rooms. Excellent service, nice breakfast and fun activities around the national park area. Can't wait for the spa to be finished.

“There are some older cottages which are a little cheaper, the difference between them and the new cottages is so big that if you are not in very tight budget you should pay a little more and take one of those new ones. We stayed in an old one and even tough it was nice there were little mark of lived life there already. That’s the reason for our rating so low.”
