This is a great little hotel, yes this was miss sold to us by travel agent and did not get what we had paid for but this was not the hotels fault at all that being said its august and it's not over ran by children which was a huge plus for us. Its quiet and laid back there are plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs in restaurant. It is out of the way of most things there is no other restaurants near by. Yes there are quite a few pine bees but they were not angry and left you alone, if you had food in there restaurant and bees around they use coffee to keep them away. The bees are round the pool side too but again they dont harm you unless you provoke them. My boy rescued a couple from the pool during our stay. We stayed half board breakfast had a wide selection and was fresh, did have to order evening meal at breakfast from a small selection, think they do it this way to reduce waste but it's quite difficult to choose what you want while you have just sat down with your breakfast. However it was organised the staff were pleasant and we took a few recipes home with us. The nearest beach when we went was a 10 min walk to a rocky beach with litter all round but that was the people that was there. If you walk a further 30 mins along the road with no footpath there is a nice beach with watersports. The cost of taxi from the hotel to the nearest shops (thasos town) is €10 one way. visiting the town in the evening is a must the town comes to life in the evening and is family orientated. The rooms were clean and had enough space we was in a large twin room, the air con which we paid extra for worked super worth the extra money. The only negative was no cooking stuff in the room and when asked was told cant cook in the room even though had a kitchenette! If the hotel was owned by the travel agent who miss sold this hotel I would mark it much less but as it's not the hotels fault it's a small family ran hotel so I have done my scores on if I had booked direct with the hotel and not the agent if I was scoring on agent it would be much lower.

Full of wasps , food was crap, tania was a miserable cow, place needs badly renovating, dirty cats using the grounds as a toilet. Honestly faulty towers has nothing on this place, only thing that made it was the guests! Met a few lovely couples , wouldn’t return of my life depended on it! Seen tramps trainers in better condition!!

We stayed here and found the hotel everything we wanted, Every member of staff friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We read reviews of people complaining of having to say what they wanted early in the day. To meet requirements and no waste I think this is a logical approach. The entertainment was good and the quiz added to the holiday. Pool bar had reasonable prices. We found no problems walking on the road into town, did not do it in the dark no problem in daylight. Thanks to all staff.

We visited this lovely, tranquil hotel in 2018 and enjoyed our stay so much we went back this year too. We requested the same room (room 403) a month before we left as it is on the top floor and is very quiet with beautiful views of the pine forest and the sea. Tanya was very good in granting our request. Once again we had a lovely time. Because the hotel is quite small we had many days when it was just us around the pool as other guests went to the beach or explored the island. The food, once again was excellent. We stayed as half board. The breakfast is a buffet affair with pretty much every breakfast combination possible. The are all the ingredients for a full English plus toast, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cheeses, cooked meats...The list goes on. At breakfast you are asked to indicate what you would like for dinner from four choices. These are usually 2 meat dishes (on of which is invariably Greek, which we appreciated), a fish dish (the mussels were delicious) and a vegetarian option. Plus there are options for children too. I can honestly say we never had a bad meal. All the staff are top class and bend over backwards to help you and on our last night we got a drink on the house which was a lovely and endearing touch. There are beaches a short 2 minute walk away (the one on the left of the hotel is the sandier one with less rocks in the sea) and the hotel also provides transport (one way) into the town centre for 50 cents three times a week. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would dearly love to return for a third time in the future. You won't be disappointed.

Yet another lovely visit to Four Seasons but bittersweet. Sadly we only went for a week in mid-July and, even more sadly, it appears the Thomas Cook side to things on the island is all but over. Five visits have not decreased our love for this small and friendly hotel set among pines and a stone's throw for the sparkling Aegean. Tania, Lena, Sotiris, Mariana and the team were, as always, super efficient and friendly. We will miss this gem!

Stayed for one week and thought it was well run, clean and generally friendly. Mix of Brits on a package with Bulgarians, Serbs and Greeks who had driven down. I felt that as much as I enjoyed it a week here was enough for me. The food was very good but it is like anything, after a while it seems that you are eating the same thing and you want a change of scenery so we ate out of the hotel a couple of times. Breakfasts are very good, the full English was decent and very close to what you would have in the UK. You choose your evening meal in the morning and I have absolutely no problem with that. They cook it freshly to order and there is no food wasted like in other hotels with a limitless buffet style set-up, so environmentally sound. A litre of wine was 8 euro and a beer 3. I wouldn’t bother with the cocktails, you can get much better in town ( try the Karnagio bar ) for the same money. There are 3 little beaches down the hill and over the main road. By far the best was to the right which was set by a derelict restaurant looking out onto a natural bay with gently sloping sand into warm calm waters, popular with the locals. There are absolutely no amenities or shops near the hotel so cabin fever breaks out by day 3 and you have to get into town. Forget walking, it is dangerous as you would be walking along the main island ring road but with no pavement, with lorries thundering past at 50 mph. Factor into your budget about 4 return trips over a week at 16 euro a pop = 64 euros. The hotel WiFi was intermittent, there is another little hotel directly in front with a cheaper pool bar and brilliant WiFi thrown in. We wandered in there coming back from the beach for a change of scenery, and took the opportunity to download a load of stuff that we couldn’t at the Four Seasons. Lots of wasps around the pool for some reason ( probably the pine forests) that were harmless but distracting, and sun-beds were plentiful. On a couple of occasions we were the only ones around the pool which I thought was odd considering it was high season. The gym isn’t really worthy of the name with broken and really out of date kit. A nice touch in reception is a library with a couple of hundred English books if you have forgotten to take any. The staff were efficient and friendly. They should run a shuttle service into town three times a day in high season considering the location of the hotel. Finally, walking anywhere is next to impossible as the hotel is surrounded by dense pine forest to the rear. A solid 4 out of 5 and I would return to Thassos, a chilled out island with a old style Greek vibe.

Hotel is popular lots embarked from same coach at time! Made lots of friends, very friendly hotel. The breakfast was typically Greek with cereals, yogurts, cooked breakfasts etc. Bacon craved for but not for me, not their fault.to salty for me. Do ask for choice of evening meal at breakfast so be prepared! I'm a fussy eater and most nights didn't particularly like what was offered, bland. Overall well worth the money, just keep paying your bar bill every few days to keep tab down as no cash taking at the till, go to reception at 10.30 a.m. Is along from the town and takes just under 2 hours to walk, a long with no pavements, the hotel only offer a courtesy bus on a Sun,Mon,Tue at 50c per trip which is very fair but would pay more if it was every day and each way! Trip back (bus not available) taxi is 8 euros. The hotel is very well kept clean and efficient but I did feel top staff need to be a little bit more engaging! Dinner is between 7 and 9 p.m. therefore if you arrive at 8.35 one is entitled to a nice meal at pace, NO you must eat all within 15 mins on or before 9 p.m., as staff need to get off, starter removed and pick sweet before 9 p.m. Not very relaxing!! Now I appreciate the staff have had long days, probably been there from 6.30 a.m. preparing breakfast etc till 9 p.m. get a rota system! But they are doing this for 6 months straight and then off, not 12 months I've worked in hotels, no customer booted off 15 mins from sit down for dinner in slotted time.

Laughable the reviews. We had an evening meal on our first night and never eat there again although we were half board. The rice was running with water, the meat was of questionable origin and my partners salmon was awful and dry with 5 small frozen carrots!😂🤣🥕The hotel has seen better days and is miles from the local town.It can be walked but you really are taking your life in your hands as there is no pavement. The hotel has a bus service(just one way,no return for 50 cents that is available in the morning at 10 am on Sun,Mon,Tuesday only !)!😂🤣A taxi to town is €8 each way.We rented a car just to get away from the place !At breakfast you have to decide what meal you would like(or dislike!)for the evening meal.Total lack of information regards buses as the timetable in reception was not current and of no use.We have stayed in much better accommodation in many other areas of Greece,Spain,France,Italy,Tunisia,Egypt, etc and every one of the hotels stayed in has been highly acceptable for a comparable price.I know I will get negative reaction to my observations by the hotel and the guests but"hey ho","speak as you find" and this is really a true appraisal in our eyes! Go for it !!🤔🤔😯

Arrived 5 July 2019 after flying from Manchester. And a ferry to Thassos. Hotel is not central to anything shops restaurants bars beaches so if you want to see the island you need to hire a car or use the local buses which are cheap but not very reliable. The hotel had roughly 30 rooms and mainly British guests whilst we stayed. Breakfast is buffet style cold buffet cereal jams and also your traditional English style breakfast which was everyday excellent. Evening meals you get a choice of four different dishes which you have to choose at breakfast time. We found some of the dishes very well cooked but also very bland but overall good value for what we paid. Decent pool and enough sun loungers for everyone without getting up early to reserve. They don’t take cash at the restaurant/pool bar you have to put it on your room bill and pay it either at the end of your stay or as we did the morning after as it can be a shock after a few days drinking. Air conditioning is five euros a day and safe is two euros a day. Mini bus runs Sunday Monday Tuesday into Thassos Town but doesn’t bring you back. We would stay here again but with a hire car. The staff are brilliant and make you feel welcome.

This hotel is a few kilometres outside Thassos Town and the only way to walk in was on a main road, so not easy. However, there is a bus stop nearby and it only costs 1.8 Euros each, or a taxi costs 8 Euros. All the rooms had a pool view and there were plenty of comfortable sun loungers on a grassy area around the pool. The bar and restaurant are also near the pool and meals can be eaten inside or out. Our room was reasonably large with a shower room and kitchenette, very comfortable. Tanya and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to hire a car or jeep see Tanya, much cheaper than elsewhere. As the hotel is fairly small guests easily got to know each other, creating a very sociable atmosphere. There was a good choice of wholesome food, including a good 'full English' breakfast which we were not expecting. We had a great holiday there and were sad to leave.
