De Kempervennen Holiday Park offers a varied, unique and sporty selection of activities for a carefree holiday. In addition to having a wonderful time in the subtropical leisure pool, strolling through the Market Dome - with various restaurants, a grand café and lovely shops – you can try climbing, baby and toddler swimming, archery or go in search of Big Mama. Or as a previous guest commented: “Perfect for our annual group holiday! Everything was within reach for a great week.” The park also has a number of unusual types of accommodation, such as the spacious Eden cottages and luxury houseboats. The countryside as a playground De Kempervennen has two large lakes where you can go diving in search of the giant catfish Big Mama. Or you can go water skiing and wake boarding on the water which you can also whoosh over on the Zip Wire. You can be in the beautiful Malpi nature reserve in minutes by mountain bike, but to be honest, you don’t even need to leave the park for a really great time. Jump into your skis or snowboard the whole year round in the 5500 m2 of real snow in Montana Snowcenter, try paintballing with your friends or gain your PADI diving certificate during one of the multiple-day courses. “Really great for the children” The innovative holiday park offers a huge number of great activities for children of all ages, both indoor and outdoor. Orry and his friends put on various shows while children can play at being a chef, princess, knight or painter. Or how about snorkelling among exotic fish, a DJ workshop or the Aqua Scooter which will pull you along under water? And there is an extensive and highly entertaining programme in the evenings, as witnessed by this enthusiastic guest: “Holland’s got Talent: eat your heart out..!!!” Come and discover for yourself why De Kempervennen, about fifteen kilometres south of Eindhoven, is rightly called the ‘Pearl of Center Parcs’.

I know there are several poor reviews now, so I will add to that. Due to the situation, I've decided I will have to cancel as it is now approaching 4 weeks before this trip. On their guidance I chose the total insurance as they said that would cover me should covid still be a problem (booked 22/12/20) Paid 30% deposit. Now when I try to cancel, they say I owe them more money to cancel, because I took out the insurance policy, and that has to be paid in full on top of the 30% accommodation. This is disgraceful customer service, mis-sold an insurance policy that doesn't cover a COVID scenario, a policy I didn't need as I already have insurance for travel, but took it on their advice. Then to cancel, and they insist on the remainder of the money for this insurance, when they've already got 397 euros which they can keep and re-sell the holiday. Their offer was to change my booking within the next year which I cannot do, couldn't have it as a voucher for other friends to use when they go either What a completely different experience to the UK centre Parcs! I certainly won't be re-booking with the EU company again

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! We booked in 2019 for a 2020 holiday. However due to COVID had to reschedule for 2021. Once again due to COVID we are unable to travel therefore as our children are now working and circumstances have changed we asked to cancel. They agreed but said we would lose 30%, as I have been forced to cancel through no fault of my own I find this terrible. However it gets much worse, 8 weeks after cancelling, still no refund. I’ve wasted over 30 hours on hold trying to contact various teams which has cost hundreds of pounds and wasted my time. They gave me a number for the accounts team also which I have called at various times including the second they open, just keep you on hold for hours on end and NEVER answer!! I have used their complaints system on their website, using every category available, however they do not read the complaint and just send an automated email back which has no bearing on the complaint. I’m at a loss, stressed out and really upset as to the treatment and to be frank criminal behaviour. They are robbers and do not care about their customers in any way. I’m disgusted and seriously considering what my next course of action will be. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

We booked to go to Holland in December 2020, but had to reschedule to April due to covid. Had to cancel due to the ongoing pandemic and request a refund which was hard enough but they refunded my original payment card, from over a year ago and i explained that i no longer have that account but they refunded it anyway. My bank said that because its a closed account, it would be returned to them but I've been emailing repeatedly and i can only speak to billing who i can only email and no one will reply. I just want the refund that i am due!!

Original booked Easter 2020. Rebooked for week after Easter extended to 7 nights. 8 of us. Cancelled Feb 2nd. Then it started, promised refund, by March 2nd had not arrived so contacted. After a few days emailing. often you are told "mailbox full" phone is very difficult and expensive. Eventually about 70% put into bank. The held back €424.56 and told me to claim on my insurance with them, cost €73. so did. they accepted all by proof documents. I was told by email about the refund so i asked about the Cancellation costs€424.56 and got this reply When checking your booking, we noticed that you cancelled your booking in February. If you decide to cancel early and you do not want to wait for the measures, a 30% cancellation fee will be charged, according to the terms and conditions. You have indeed purchased a multi-risk insurance policy. Unfortunately we have to inform you that this insurance is not applicable for people living in the UK. We can only provide you with a voucher for the amount of the insurance (€73,-). With kind regards, Birgit Klantenservice Groupe Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs So they are happy tom sell you cover but if you live in UK it is invalid. i am sure this is illegal. Have complained to them, not sure it will help, Emailed Money mail, Watchdog now here, will continue finding places to make their despicable actions public. Sure its not Brexit tantrum. Centre parcs in UK are far better with their policy on refunds even if you live in the Netherlands

Original holiday booked August 2020 had to pay to move it to April 2021 now obviously can’t go On that. Call enter like something on a comedy show, they just persistently hang up on you after been in a queue for an hour plus. Every one you speak to says some thing different, you can have 70% of you money back, you can’t have you money back, you can only move your holiday but for a charge, you can have a voucher... Who knows if I actually will get 70% of my money back, I’m dubious. Why do they get to keep 30% of my hard earned money 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows. Do I even want to go there any more? Not a chance. Absolutely disgusted with the entire process. Avoid avoid avoid. They have no email contact, no postal contact only their call centre 🤯 in 2021. WOW!
