We stayed here with a group while visiting Lucerne. Room and bathroom were large. All was clean. Amazing views. It is in the middle of nowhere. If I were traveling on my own I don't know that I would have stayed here as it is quite remote. Staff was fine.

Good and attentive service. Despite the arrival of a bigger group at the same time, our check in was handled promptly. The room was a bit dark and old fashioned but very clean and fully functional (water, television, electricity, etc.). No safety box and no minibar. Nice location with an awesome view over the lake of Uri and the Fronalpstock....

We stayed here on a student tour in April. Rooms were small, yet very clean with nice views. Staff was friendly and luckily we did not have any interactions similar to the ones the previous poster had. There was one miscommunication --- (so now I wonder if it was because they would only speak to the tour guide??) The waiters...

This hotel had nice views. Definitely try to get a room in the back of the hotel. The views of the mountains and lake are spectacular. The views out the front are not as nice. The location is also good. Its nice being out in the mountains if you are visiting Lucerne and surrounding areas. Wifi was quite slow and...

We came for a day hike fromSeelisberg to Rütli and had lunch in this lovely restaurant. You have to stop by the terrace of this hotel even if it is only for a drink. The view from this side of the lake is really nice. Of course I personally prefer the Alpen view from the Brunnen side but by all...

Was taken here by friends for lunch on the terrace. Could not have been more amazed by the incredible views. The terrace was full but it did not take long to obtain a table lakeside. Could not stop taking photos. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was freshly prepared and excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and...

After a long drive from near Venice, stopping at Lake Como, we were happy to arrive at our hotel for dinner and rest. This hotel is very quaint, with a German touch. The rooms were fairly small, but comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The views from the hotel were awesome and in March, there was still...

We stayed at this friendly family run hotel for 4 nights over New Year. We were on a coach tour but unlike some hotel we were made to feel very welcome and just as important as other independent guests using the hotel dining room etc. The hotel, overlooking Lake Lucerne, was a typical Swiss chalet type hotel, warm and welcoming...

Had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel for four nights over the new year period, and a very enjoyable stay it was too. Situated high above the lake the views are indeed stunning. This is a family run hotel and it shows, very friendly indeed, with extra treats that really made the stay special. At the gala New Year's...
