Its a nice place but even in Spain certainly not 4 stars. Slightly overpriced. Good breakfast, spacious rooms. The pool will be crowded with 3 people. Light sleepers wouldn't want the street side, which is quite but has a huge parking with people starting cars early morning. Also, the church bells ring every 15 min.

Beautiful, serene hotel in a quiet Spanish village. The charm of the place is to walk around and absorb the sights and traditions. Also, having your own vehicle offers options to travel in the vicinity for various activities

We arrived from Figueres after a challenging bike ride in the pouring down rain. The hotel staff were so helpful - they even gave us extra newspaper to stuff in our wet biking shoes . The room was nice and an added treat was having wonderful robes to change into since our luggage was late in arriving and our clothes...

We rode from Collioure, France to Castello d'Empuries in some very nasty weather. What a surprise and relief to arrive at this beautifully appointed and spacious hotel. The rooms were very large and well equipped. Everything was first class and very comfortable. Our hosts were great and make a mean omelette in addition to a great buffet breakfast. It is...

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was outstanding. It is a bit of a winding path to get here, through some very small streets. Some streets were closed for a festival and that made it very challenging to reach it. Parking in the nearest lot can be tricky to get.

Arrived here with a rented car from the Barcelona airport. Around 2-3 hrs drive from there. A great start to the holiday and for someone visiting Spain for the first time, the hotel gives a great blissful feel. We took up a junior suite and although not very very posche but was great value for money, very clean, and the...

Castello D'Empuries is a magical place, and so it was a delight to discover this atmospheric and lovely boutique hotel. Situated in the old Jewish Quarter of the town, this beautifully restored building marries ancient and atmosphere, with modern and every comfort. We stayed during very hot July. The rooms were airy, delightful and so comfortable. Our small balcony overlooked...

Our room was very original with very high blue ceilings. We had a jacuzzi that was the bomb and they offered us free cava (champage). When we got back in our room from a walk in the village we had some candies on our room which was an excellent gift. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good (full...

This is an absolutely wonderful small hotel hidden in a small town of Costa Brava. Arrived here with a rental car from Barcelona - reasonable distance. We were well received by the very very friendly staff of the 11-room hotel. At arrival, one staff member accompanied me in the car to show the way to the garage (additinal price, book...

A fabulous hotel, with outstanding rooms, but most importantly outstanding staff, where nothing is to much trouble. We drove here from the Spanish Pyrenees. We wanted garage parking, on speaking to Dolores she assured us this was no issue, sent a separate email with directions to the front of the hotel, when we arrived they were waiting for us, helped...
