Room was very nice but we stayed in new/upgraded section. Service staff with exception of restaurant personnel were all very helpful and nice. No beach and $20 taxi ride to town. Tahiti in general was expensive but everything at the hotel was very pricey.

I have nothing in Tahiti to compare this hotel with but I can say it isn't my choice for a return. Nothing is air conditioned except your rooms. The layout requires lots of walking and stairs to climb. The food is so so not worth the cost. The lunch Buffett is $42.00 USD it consists of hamburger cold pizza and...

We had a 2 night stay at the intercontinental Tahiti Resort and Spa before boarding our cruise ship. The resort is absolutely stunning. The grounds are very well kept. The staff has been phenomenal. Rooms are beautiful and clean. The only complaint I have is that we went to the buffet for dinner and we had no reservations. We had...

Dear BrendaJackson: Greetings from Tahiti and thank you for your comments. Glad to read that your overall experience was a positive one. We are sorry to read that you were not able to attend the buffet dinner: we assume there has been some miscommunication at some stage about it as no reservation was needed for our in-house guests. If we...

Stayed three nights, two linking in with flights. The rooms each time were good but clearly need a refurb. Like all of French Polynesia things are very expensive and the hotel prices were steep when converted into AUD. Five Star prices for Four Star accomodation.

The hotel was very pleasant, though not luxurios. The room was a very decent size, the bathroom very adequate, everything was very clean & well maintained. The grounds of the hotel was fabulous & the location was excellent. There were many sport activities available as well as a spa & fitness center. The hotel had numerous nice little extra touches...

What a gorgeous site for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Tahiti. I call it the land of beautiful sunsets. The grounds are well manicured and cared for, the food is fabulous, the staff are all adorable. I stayed in a MOTU over-the-water bungalow, and it was beyond my expectations. I can't wait to go back.

I've always wanted to visit Tahiti so when hubby asked where I wanted to celebrate my bday, I picked my dream vacation in Tahiti. The hotel is beautiful! We booked our trip via Exclusive Resorts as we are members. Our room was next to the last private bungalow on the water facing the horizon. It was gorgeous inside and outside...

This was our one night stop over en route to the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. Our rooms were absolutely beyond horrendous. Tiny rooms, grossly outdated bathrooms, horrible mattresses. We were told there weren't many great options in Tahiti and this was the best. My suggestion: if you have to stay here upgrade your room and request newer section. Very...

Dear Carrie P: Greetings from Tahiti ! We are sorry to read that your short stay with us did not meet with your expectations. Our Tahiti resort with close to 250 rooms is the largest hotel in Tahiti located 10 minutes from the airport and welcoming hundreds of guests often at the same time. It remains probably the property with...

I have stayed at many InterContinetnal's around the world and I would have to say this is the only time I have been extremely disappointed. There are some good points of this hotel but there are some major flaws that let us down. The rooms are very tired but the main thing that lets this place down is the reception...

We knew it was the wet season but thought we would give it a go anyway and it has turned out to be an excellent holiday.
