I was staying in The Medena Hotel for several days its not a great place to stay, while the entrance lobby is quite old fashioned its large and gives the appearance of a fairly decent place to stay --- its not. The lobby and ground floor areas (dining room bar etc etc) is about the only modern part of the... More

Not a nice hotel. Bad service , uninterested staff. Not userfriendly if you are disabled. But it is clean and cheap. Close to The sea. Hole hotel area looks quite worn down. Located close to AirPort and sea.

The title says it all. Poor maintenance of rooms really shows. The staff is semi-nice, but what is really annoying, is that when you try to get some sleep, on the old matress, the cleaning ladies start to yell and shout on the hallway at 630 in the morning...and somedays they forget to tidy your room. Stay somewhere else.

A friend and I stayed here, and we really could not believe that a hotel this dated and tatty was still open! Upon entrance it was ok for a dated hote,. We found the majority of the staff in reception brusque and rude. Maybe this is the way of Croatian people, I don't know. The younger staff wer ok. Perhaps... More

Average Hotel needed some restored. It's a type hotels from Yugoslavia time. The same breakfast every day. Supper quite better but without any free beverages. The Adriatic Sea nicer than service. There are different kinds of seashores. For family, savage beach near the forest, a rock seashore. Actually, the weather, sea and air are amazing. Also not far from Hotel,... More

The best bit about this hotel is that they have a large strip on the beach with bars and little food places. And there is some beautiful scenery if you are willing to walk for a little bit. However if you want a hotel that is up-to-date and with friendly customer service then perhaps look elsewhere. There is not kettle... More

Would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Extremely rude staff. Gross, outdated facilities. Wifi DOES NOT work. My debit card got eaten by the ATM machine in front of the hotel and they did nothing to assist me. They mostly just gave me nasty looks or scowls whenever I had even the simplest question. Some... We are getting crazy with that music all the night and day since 3 days . You can ear it at 2km around. No body can help to stop it. Do not go there at all !!!! You must avoid the place !!!! Even if you like techno. It is always the same one and not good ! There better... More

The hotel was disappointment, actually. The moment we entered the lobby, my first thought was...Oh dear...what the room would look like. It looks at the first glance a bit shabby, stuck in time. Everything is old fashioned, which doesn't have to be necessarily bad...it could go retro style, but this one seems old fashioned with shabby style. The staff was... More
