We decided to treat ourselves to a couple of days in The Gower with our Labrador. The Kings Head has several dog friendly rooms, so that suited us beautifully. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. In fact, if I had to find a word that describes our whole experience here it would be welcoming....

Snapped up a deal for a couple of nights at The King's Head Inn just before Easter, and loved everything about our stay. Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful room with an amazing bathtub, and the pub across the car park where breakfast and dinner was consumed was friendly, well-run, and served delicious food, ales and ciders (including the Ancient...

We had three nights at the Kings Head just before Easter. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our pet Labrador was made extremely welcome and could stay with us for breakfast which we ate in the bar. Guests without dogs ate in the lounge area. Breakfast was very good and the waitresses were extremely friendly, helpful and dog-friendly. We...

Booked a room here on a Thursday afternoon, for a spontaneous night away with my partner. Easy to book a room reception helpful and polite. Loved the fact this B&B was dog friendly and was only an extra £5 to take him ( usual pay £40- £60 in a caravan to take a dog ) . Was stunned on arrival...

We stayed here as a family of 10 ranging in ages from 73 down to 6 years old plus our dog. We had a fantastic time, with great food and drink in a beautiful setting staying in rooms ranging from the House to the newer rooms in the barns. All the rooms were really well appointed, very clean and warm....

From the reception for the rooms to the bar and breakfast staff, this is worthy of a big 5* rating. The restaurant & bar food were very good. They serve Welsh Steaks and they are damn good too. All the staff were helpful and dealt with things with a smile - you can go a long way with a smile!...

A very friendly welcome by all the staff of this lovely pub/hotel. The room was bright, clean and extremely comfortable with a beautiful generous sized wetroom. Plenty of walks including access to the beach. The food is delicious and of course the Gower Brewery beer amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our trip was over far too quickly. We...

Pleasant location; comfortable accommodation; good food; cheery, helpful young staff – So why just 1 star? Well, allow me to explain …………. Judy took our booking. I had spotted an offer on Secret Escapes and following a visit to their website to check out room specifications I telephoned reception to discuss availability. I asked Judy whether it would be possible...

Dear JohnyCash, We are sorry to read your review and that you feel so strongly about it. Unfortunately room changes are sometimes unavoidable and all our rooms are furnished to the same high standard. Unfortunately, we have just changed the layout of the family rooms to remove the sofa bed to replace with a double bed and new twin beds...

Been a few years since our last visit, took the dog this time, there is a separate dining area if you want pooch to come in with you (ours was quite happy to sit in the car) whilst you gorge on the generous portions of good wholesome fare. The trio of lamb chops are divine! A very well stocked bar...
