We booked to stay 2 nights but were aching so much after an awful nights sleep that we left a day early. On checking out early, the attitude was surprise, as if it had never been mentioned by any previous guest. Having not long returned from a trip to the USA, where we had slept in 8 different hotels without... More

The room was lovely: warm, clean and well-equipped. Bathroom was clean and shower hot. We ate in the pub - the meals substantial and tasty (I'd go back just for the crumble!) The breakfast was generous with proper sausage and bacon and filled us up for the walks along the beautiful beaches close by - this place is in the... More

We live fairly locally and have popped in here a few times for drinks in the past, so having seen the beer festival advertised and the fact that the pub is dog friendly, we booked a room for two nights. On arrival we were effortlessly checked in by the cheerful receptionist to our very pleasant and well appointed ground floor... More

Stopped in here for supper on Saturday with friends. A popular pub, but with good service that meant it didn't take long to get served drinks, and the wait for food was a lot shorter than expected. The local beers are very tasty, and the food was wholesome and well prepared. The steak I asked to be served blue was... More

We love the accommodation and had a lovely stay for three nights. We have stayed before and whilst we have no complaints, the restaurant is looking very tired and in need of a good refurb. Staff very friendly and our greeting on arrival at reception was excellent, with great humour.

The Kings Head was a lovely break, the rooms are clean and spacious and away from the actual pub just a short walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is very very good the breakfast had everything possible to please everyone's taste and diet. A place to be revisited.

Friendly pub with large, modern en suite rooms in separate buildings. Dogs are welcome in some rooms and in main bar area. Wonderful breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Beautiful views from the sunny terrace and lovely local walks!

The room was spacious, beautifully warm (underfloor heating) and well appointed with great views over the village, the Norman church and then out to sea. Fantastic walk across bog (a very boggy bog btw!) and up and over the hill to Rhossili and then back to Llangennith via the beach. After a hot bath, we had fabulous G&Ts at the... More

We stayed at the Kings Head for 5 nights in July for our Ruby Wedding Anniversay. Great rooms, superb breakfast and good choice on menu for evening meals. It is a dog friendly hotel and you can take your pet into certain parts of the pub and restaurant. Good place to base yourself for visiting the Gower area and West... More

The people of this accommodation/public house are A1 on customer service. Right from outset nothing was too much trouble.
