Had a very pleasant stay at the Valais. Basic, no luxury, but very clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel a few times and had drinks in the bar. The food was good and we had a great time in the bar. Great atmosphere! Overall; I would very much recommend this hotel. Clean pool and lots of sun beds, both around the pool and on the beach.

Stayed at the Valais Hotel it’s pretty basic but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, food in their restaurant is ok a bit more expensive than other places, the swimming pool and sun beds are good, the sun beds on the beach are good as well. If you are a early to bed person book a room on the road side of the hotel as on the garden side you get loud music from the Mill Bar next door three times a week when they have their tribute night acts. I would recommend this hotel it’s only a five minute walk to Alykanas town for the shops and bars etc.

Wow! Another amazing holiday. Valais hotel and staff..you never disappoint. The hotel was spotless. Bedding constantly cleaned. Cleaners are amazing! The beach towels provided smell as good as the bedding, so fresh! Staff are so helpful and nothing is ever too much to ask. Cannot recommend this place enough!

It's been a LONG time since I've been here (2004 was my last visit although I had been on the island since then) so when visiting this year, I had to make a nostalgia trip this time. I was so happy we went. There's been some big improvements to the place since 2004. The pool is large, the food is great, the beds and seating are comfortable and the variety of drinks is exceptional. My only gripe is that as a non-resident, you have to pay €6 per person, per day, to use the pool, beds and WiFi. That doesn't sound like much, but over the course of a 2 week holiday, that's an extra €144 you'd need to save for. Plus when we paid for the access, we were told we'd get a pass, but then wasn't given anything and wasn't given the WiFi password. People were walking in and out of the pool area freely, but there was no way to identify who had paid and who hadn't paid to use it (something like a wrist band or a tag to put on your swimwear would be a good idea and stop people using it without paying). Prices for the food and drinks was in same cases on par with the nearby premises, but in others unreasonably more expensive (for example, Carbonara was €14 but can be purchased elsewhere for around €9.50 to €10, and a Gyros plate was €15 but can again be bought elsewhere for around €9.50 to €10). Their fresh/healthy smoothies are devine and a must try!! I love that they are located on the sea front, so the view is stunning. It's also quite quiet there despite being on a road so it really is a peaceful place to go.

We had drinks at the pool bar and terrace, it was all very well organised and they hand out some very fine treats with a drink of an evening. Top marks and thank you very much for working so hard at making everything perfect. See you next year

Returned yet again to our favourite Greek Hotel and it didn’t disappoint.Yet again ticked all the boxes with a fantastic welcome from the family and their loyal staff.Every time we return small touches have been done to subtly improve the facilities without changing the essential character of the place that customers love.Rooms are a good size, simply furnished and kept spotlessly clean with regular servicing. The bar and restaurant has a good range of good and drink on offer ,whatever the time of day. Beautifully positioned next to a sandy beach with warm clear waters, that has discounted loungers for Hotel guests,it’s perfect for relaxing.Don’t even need to leave beach for refreshments as a little buzzer by the loungers can be used to alert staff that you require something, which is promptly brought to you. Huge thanks to Katerina,George,Julie and Wayne for a superb, much needed break.Like so many we’ll be back.

Ate in the restaurant on the beach several times, for breakfast or brunch or lunch. Good every time really enjoyed the food & drink. Staff really friendly. Glad we visited. Salads were lovely & English breakfast well worth it. They served on the beach if you wished.
