The location of this hotel is fantastic but the place is old and tired in much need of investment. The room was very poor quality and scruffy - dirty carpets, cracked toilet, mould, scratched furniture etc. We looked to eat in the restaurant but it was virtually empty so we walked across the bridge to a very nice pub/restaurant. The...

Had a wonderful 4 day stay. The hotel staff were very obliging, food was good, but the only drawback was the wifi connection. A bit complicated, you had to log in with a different code every day and reception was quite poor, otherwise a good trip.

We found this hotel quite good. The rooms were good, though the showers left a little to be desired, on the cool side. Otherwise good. The river ferry into Bath proper was great and the Italian Resturant was nice with good service and food. The best view is from a room overlooking the river, or the Toll Bridge. You need...

My wife and I used this as a base for our weekend visit to bath. Friendly staff a comfortable room and a excellent breakfast. Could do with a tidy up on the maintenance side of things, but that didn't really affect our stay. Would stay here again.

Very laid back atmosphere, Matt on reception was also the barman and car park attendant! Very helpful young man. Room was clean and more than adequate although the loo had a dodgy flush! We would certainly return as we loved it

It was 10pm when we booked in and money was taken immediately through a bank card. Our room was OK, if rather 'tired' and the bathroom (we were warned) had a quirky shower that needed caution. The beds were comfortable and sleep beckoned. Then we noticed the noise. A constant, monotonous drone, like a refilling loo cistern, impossible to ignore....
