The Malemi Hotel is the ideal base for exploring the fabulous island of Lesvos. The buffet meals are plentiful and well prepared and a stay here is excellent value for money. The owner George is very amenable to accommodating groups of birdwatchers.

The Greek island of Lesbos is renowned as a birding watching hotspot particularly in the peak migrational periods of late April & early May. Unfortunately the popularity of these two or three weeks means that many of the most attractive habitats are overrun by birding tours & groups at this time. To avoid the crowds a friend & I decided...

My family and I were delighted with our wonderful fortnight at Malemi and were certain that we had made the best accommodation and resort choice within moments of arriving at the hotel. Following a direct flight from Manchester, UK, we were collected by our friendly and helpful taxi driver at Mytilini airport, all previously arranged by email with the hotel....

This year we found Malemi fully renewed: the swimming pool, the pool bar, the dinner room, etc. This hotel is really dedicated for a family stay: the area is secure, the swimming pool very nice, a "Malemi" area on the beach with a quiet sea due to its situation in the Gulf of Kalloni. The beach is at 200m from...

After reading excellent reviews on trip advisor, we expected a lot from this vacation, but we were quite disappointed. We aren´t demanding people, but there are few basics every three star hotel should have. The staff is acting like they hate you, and the rest of the world. The swiming pool is so small that you can hardly call it...
