Went to this hotel even though there was some negative comments. They were justified believe me. On arrival we were met by an apologetic receptionist who apologised that they were over booked and that we would spend the first two nights at a hotel down the road. We went to this hotel and to be fair it was ok. We...

We booked this 3 ½ star all-inclusive hotel with the intention of using it as a base while exploring the beautiful western side of Crete. Big mistake. Although our expectations were not the highest, we never-the-less found it impossible to subject ourselves to the grubby conditions and appalling food for the duration, and had Jet2 arrange a move on day...

The hotel in itself is basically all you need, Bed, Shower, etc In our room a fridge and TV, we had a Sea view. The staff are welcoming and friendly, rooms clean and tidy, food very nice and location of hotel close to shops and beach with tavernas and restaurants if you prefer a night out. The two pools are...

Where to start!! The hotel itself is not too bad. Rooms were a good size and plenty of storage. Bed linen and towels changed every other day. Pool area was quite nice. No shortage of sun beds although most of them were broken. Plenty of tables and chairs near the pool and in the bar area. From here it's downhill....

Upon arriving at Maravel we were greeted by a nice lady in the hotel reception and informed that some sandwiches and drinks had been popped in the fridge in our room (it was around 11pm when we arrived). Initially things seemed good. The room was nice (if not amazing), with decent air conditioning and reasonable facilities. The morning breakfast was...

The hotel itself was ok.. A little dated in the rooms but ok to just sleep in and shower. Although the shower is very small.. The hotel it's self is rather noisy hearing people slamming doors and banging about early hours of the morning! And hearing the maids from around 7am. We regularly had to ask for towels and toilet...
