Steffen and Michel are the perfect hosts!! What an amazing stay we had staying in their b&b in Ansouis. If you are fortunate enough to be there on Friday or Saturday night, you MUST have dinner with them! Steffen prepares wonderful French breakfasts daily but the dinners are over the top!! He loves to cook and it shows in presentation...

We really enjoyed our week at this cozy Guesthouse. It's a lovely place, beautifully decorated by it's enthousiastic hosts Michel and Stéf. Breakfast is abundant with homemade marmelades, cake, fresh fruit, nice cheeses and more. Ansouis is an historic village but not yet crowded with tourists. The area is very beautiful with it's many vineyards and pretty countryroads. Thank you...

We had a lovely 2 nights in Ansouis. The Patio en Luberoun is a uniquely renovated ancient home, using every nook for modern conveniences. The bathroom in our room (the "Ansouis") was a marvel of the use of space-- complete the bath, show, cupboard and vanity. Michel and Stephen are wonderful hosts and have a wonderful sense of style and...

My husband and I had a great stay at Un Patio en Luberon. The location was perfect for exploring the hill towns of the southern Luberon. The hosts, Michel and Stephen, were delightful and very helpful about places to eat and visit. Our room, the living room, and breakfast area were all beautifully appointed with attention to all design details....

Stayed here for one night as we had read about a highly Michellin rated restaurant in the same village. The hosts / owners Michel and Stefan were absolutely wonderful and made us feel relaxed and welcome in their home. Although our room was very small it was fine for one night and the decor was fabulously French. The owners offer...

Thank you for your contribution. We are pleased with the success of your stay. However, we inform our future travelers that parking is a 2 minutes walk from the house and that we should not go up a hill but just a small street. Probably it's your humor !!

Our fluency in French is quite limited, but that didn't take away from the experience of this magnificent B&B, in fact it added to it. No detail is too small for the hosts who obviously take great pride in this little piece of paradise. The setting is quaint and the hospitality over the top. The rural setting is perfect for...

Myself and my husband have just returned from a week’s stay at un patio, and we totally disagree with the previous review stating “do not come if you can’t speak French”. We have no French vocabulary, but found Stefan and Michel the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and we felt very touched...

Thank you for your very kind comment. Yes we do not speak perfect English but we always make the effort to communicate with our guests and when to smile and kindness are there everything is possible.

We did not like the atmosphere at this B&B at all. The hosts either ignored us or treated us with subtle contempt. We were ignored by the host at the pre-dinner drinks (no other restaurant was open in town that night). Thankfully, over dinner the other French guests were lovely and chatted with us in basic French and English. In...

The language barrier was probably an obstacle to our meeting. In any case you have been set aside and we are very disappointed that you can write. You have been invited to share a drink offered to all our guests and the meal was carefully prepared for you. Our mission is to welcome guests from around the world and we...

This really is a gem of a location. I know France and this area fairly well but had not visited Ansouis before, so was extremely pleased to find a gorgeous medieval village topped by a renaissance château. The Patio is hidden in one of the small lanes spiralling up the hill. I was told by Stefan that it is 16th...

“All beautiful; some have more stairs so advise if you need 1 with fewer stairs. Lovely, quiet town, so noise is not a concern.”
  • View from the town of the beautiful Luberon Hill area.
  • We loved looking out at the roof tops
  • I don't remember any clanging bell waking us up - it's probably not ringing during sleeping hour
  • View from the patio.
  • Lovely room - comfy, clean, large, beautiful

“We had 1 person in the room called "Gordes" and 2 people in "Lourmarin." These are ideal to book if you're travelling with others as they are in a secluded part of the B&B so you feel like you have your own area, complete with a trickling fountain just outside!”
