Check in: Check in took us almost 45 minutes due to Christmas holiday and lobby was flooded with guests.
Hotel: there were 6 elevators but all of them were slow! Multi storey car park was a nightmare. The pathway was too narrow with sharp turns. Not to mention the layout of the car park which was a disaster.
Room: room was spacious & can easily accommodate 4 persons. However, the room maintenance was quite poor. There were stains everywhere in the room. Blinds in the shower room was malfunctioning. We can’t control the lighting at the private pool & the automatically switched off the light at 10pm which was a big let down. Sauna room took forever to get heated.
Overall, it was just an average experience & nothing special. We will look for other hotels for our next visit in Penang

If you think you are going to have a 5 star hotel experience, you are WRONG. I've stayed in 3 star hotels with better service and cleniness than this. Trust me, don't waste your money here.
The check-in was epic, they sent an email to complete the registration form and document so that check-in process will be faster. I was expecting something special but I was still asked to wait standing for 1 hour in the line just like everyone else who were filling up their form while in the queue.
The private pool was dirty and had mold growing. The public pool and other facilities even the kedai runcit in ground floor was closed. The toilet bowl was dirty with yellow stains. The floor felt greasy and the room had a faint urine smell. After the amazing check-in experience, I didn't bother ask for room change. We cleaned it ourself.
The breakfast and lunch/dinner was cold and with limited choices. You will regret this. There is so much more to complain. This is the worst hotel stay ever for me.

My stay with Lexis Suites was a pleasant and a wonderful stay. I had a very beautiful experience with all the staff in all departments. Firstly I would like to show my gratitude to Fayizah (Senior Duty Manager) who really helped me out through out my stay in Lexis. There is one Malay girl yesterday named Yasmin at the coffee house who took our order for dinner she had a very pleasant smile on her face through out her job even when she was handling the floor by herself. In fact this morning she was there too for breakfast and she really was having that sweet smile which really made my day and it looked very pleasant even though there were so many tables to clear on her own. Moreover the staff that checked me in yesterday both the staff Lynn and Azam was very very helpful not only to me but I could see that they were helpful with each other as well while checking me in. Breakfast was superb I would rate 5 star for that. The room and the bed was so cozy and comfortable that I had a really good sleep after so long. I would recommend everyone to come and stay here in Lexis and I can assure you that you will have a wonderful and a pleasant stay.

3 stars are for the big rooms, 2 beds with pool and steam room, separate bathroom and a tub to book. Ease of check in. Some cons service staff too slow and mix up or non delivery of breakfast. Rooms looks very dated and in need of a refurbishment. Location wise is near to airport but far from the sights but easy to get grab.

Drive all the way to penang 5 1/2 hour is to enjoy my day . End up, so disappointed with a 6 star hotel lack of staffs working. 2 check in counters only to cater a very long Q at the lobby today. Hotel Guest queuing without distancing. The situation today is totally out of control. Guest line up from the concierge with lots of u-turn q created closely till the lift. I had been waited 2 hours yet not my turn . i am so worried with the crowd and situation there. No distancing, no sanities at the entrance of the lobby. How they ensure all the hotel guest is eligible to check in safely? I am wondering did they sanitize the rooms to cater this much of hotel guest check in? Duty Manager is helping out to chek in guest, but too busy to handle overall situation in the lobby. Bell bell not available. At last i leave the hotel cause of the fear to check in and stay. I dont wish to risk my life to stay in this hotel.

I rented a Premium Pool Suite for 3 nights with break fast for 3 adults.
Room was excellent although the pool need some cleaning particularly on the glass wall and side kerb.
My main complain is on the way your reception at your buffet breakfast restaurant. Despite paying breakfast for 3 Adults I only went for breakfast with my Wife as my 6 years old son was still sleeping.
After we finished breakfast I took two pieces of pastries and 1 yogurt for my son. We were stopped by an Indian lady who mentioned the rule does not allow food to be taken out.
Yes I noted that as I am a frequent regional traveler. Despite telling her my son was sleeping, despite telling her we already paid for 3 adult, she still insisted that we left the food. I acknowledged if we didn't pay and if we took food in large quantities.
When I mentioned this, the lady said in a rude and demeaning manner "Since you take it already, just take it la".
Having been in various other hotels even those both more expensive and even cheaper one during my regional business travel, this was truly a shocking experience to me. When I went to the Lobby to mention about this incident, I was told by a Malay lady that the Indian lady was from management and close to the Boss.
No worries. No loss from me except this is a revealing lesson to never come again to this hotel. You have a long way to reach the level of the many hotels at Batu Ferringhi.

Hi Bobby! There is a power plug nearby the area, but we cannot confirm if it's triple or dual pin, and what the voltage requirements are. This plug is used for internal maintenance of the pools. There are 3 pin power sockets in the rooms for guests' usage.
There are more places to choose from in the Bayan Lepas area.
