We stay two days at Ace hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Beautifull room with sea view and balcony. WiFi was very slow. Beautifull beach, clean and very quiete.
At the restaurant the breakfast was Asian, But the staff prepare for us bread And eggs, bitter, marmelade. So helpfull.

We chose this hotel based solely on the size of their pool and we were not disappointed. Although the maintenance of the pool could be better, the vast pool can host many parties of summer vacationers without any of us colliding into each other.
The housekeeping service was good, the staffs were friendly and the room was nice. We got a lovely sea-view room with a spectacular sunset view with a very fair price during the peak season.
The downsides should be the very poor breakfast and the beach in front being not as clean nor beautiful compared to more expensive choices.

We stayed at the deluxe upstairs. I recommend to get the upstairs room as it has a very high ceiling and can get a nice sea view. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We love the bathroom too. It is big. The staffs there are very polite and helpful. We had complaints because we couldn't get hot water for showers but they came right away and solved the problem. However, you need to make sure to ask them to get the room with direct sea view coz there are a few rooms that is facing the sea but the view is obstructed by trees or a bit too farther in. And, we couldn't get a double bed. I am not sure whether they dont hv rooms with double bed or what. But they push two single beds together. It works for us.

The swimming pool is huge and nice too.

One shortcomings is the restaurant. Free breakfast is buffet and it was good but if you order dishes for lunch and dinner, the taste is not that good compared to other restaurants nearby. It is outdoors and at night, it can be freezing cold to have dinner outside. But no worries, as there are many local restaurants, cheap and tasty nearby.

Another could be electricity. The electricity is on from 6pm to 8am and a few hours in the afternoon. I heard the electricity is always on if you stay at a very expensive hotel. But, it wasn't an issue for us since we enjoyed the outdoors and beach, rather than caving in our room with aircon on the whole day.

The location is good. There are small local restaurants just outside the hotel and a water adventure service, like banana boat, etc. There are more restaurants and souvenirs shop at a walking distance. A small island, called lover's island that you can walk if it is low tide.

Overall, everything was great. Totally recommend it for all types of travel, couples, families or friends or solo.

Customer service - at its poorest, never receive the service when it called upon. at least an hour of waiting time is expected. Hotel manager is not available

Receptionists - rude and irresponsible, as if they are working for free in that hotel.

Toilet - unclean since check-in. Water is draining all the time.

In-room phone - spoiled as well for every 4 room taken and it never gets fixed.

Breakfast - non-meat meal. tasteless. Boiled water for coffee is not clean at all with ants and dirt inside. And terrible juice.

Bed and towel - unsatisfactory and dirty

Swimming pool - not bad. still a better proper cleaning is needed.

Area - it's got a big compound to enjoy.

Stayed with my family in deluxe rooms for 2 nights. Location of the hotel in the edge of the beach area is really good - quiet and pleasant. Relatively more clear sea view through a decent big swimming pool from majority of the rooms is unique for this hotel. Sea side restaurant of the hotel is really nice spot for dinner though there is limited items to choose. Can feel the sunset over Lovers' Island which is just 5 mins walking distance in front of the hotel when the tide is low. Rooms are remarkably wide with nice bathroom and except luxury bathroom wares. I might say number of hotel staffs is less if compared to hotel size but they are quite helpful. Room rates are reasonable and mostly fixed for any season. This is the right one if you are looking for a standard one with nice beach view and not expecting luxury services...

Nice hotel for medium budget. All rooms are sea view rooms. Each building has four rooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. Upstairs rooms are little bit more expensive but they have bathtub and better view. The hotel is located at the end of the hotel zone. It's quite far from the village. However, the couples island is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is so so.

The hotel is very nice, Big, clean, nice rooms behind a big garden overlooking the sea (partial sea view is full sea view). The staff went out of there way to make our stay pleasant. The massage lady is very good (I took one every day and I was there for 10 night). The sun beds are wide apart and the bay is lovely. There are fishing boats but I didn't hear any noise from them and I was there a long time. I enjoyed watching the fisherman do there thing while I was reading a book on the beach. At the noment they are making a pool. They didn't work on it during our stay. If the pool is ready it will be even more fantastic there. I have only one complaint and that is the restaurant. It is not nice looking and the food is not so tasty. For the breakfast it was fine. They can do better but is was ok. Just toast with butter and jam, pancakes and some Asian food. What I liked is that they make for everyone a fresh juice and there is of course coffee and thee. After breakfast the restaurant is empty for the rest of the day. What a pity as the location is very good. I told hem what they need to do to make the restaurant word (plants, flowers, Myanmar style sun umbrella's, a shorter menu and then everything wonderfully cooked). I hope they will listen. It is not a reason not to book the hotel as there are 4 restaurants on the beach with nice food. 3 local heroes that places some tables and sun umbrella's and cook nice food and the Yoma Cherry Lodge close by. You can walk to the other beach strip with many other hotels and restaurants over the rocks or short over the street and at the street are also some nice restaurants close by. We had a fantastic stay!!

It is a good location and great view I move to this hotel from Shwe Hnin Tha,it had some problems such as bath water heater is not working and many mosquito in the room at night time.

But this hotel served a delicious Breakfast, room service is always checked up,reasonable price. Staff are friendly. If I have a chance to come back again to this beach, I will stay this hotel again.

It' Pool side is better than they provide extra
bath towels whether there's any left in the towel rack.Feel the sea view theme at the pool side to the lovely sunset.

Nothing fancy in rainy season, the pool is poorly maintain, even the pool is quite large, the pool floor is so slippy with there is no maintain the hygiene of the water, also the saw many little frogs are swimming in the pool, The room are okay. if you are going to stay there, bring bunch of snacks because nothing open expect hotel restaurant got the basic fried rice, fried noodle or toasts. Overall, it okay.

Hotel is extremely run down. Looks like it was already put up for sale. No single effort in taking care of hotel image. Worst thing was the swimming pool which we regard as main factor for our holiday. Water in the pool does not seem to be cycling. Same old water seems to be there for weeks. At least 5 different kinds of insects floating around in the pool in cosiderably large number, both dead and live ones. No staff to enforce the pool users to stick to the pool rules. Some people were even eating inside the pool let alone drinking. Mucus can be seen floating around. I reduced our stay of 3 nights to 1. After hearing the reason for cancellation, they started to do some cleaning but this pool needs month of cleaning and maintenance work before it is in swimmable state. I have given the same feedback to their headquarter in order to help the hotel.
