I stayed at Mt Jefferson View for two nights on a leaf peeping trip. The setting is to die for. It is a beautiful, beautiful location. Sadly, the rooms are a bit grim: dark, fly ridden, cold and in need of an overhaul. The bathroom was nasty and ran out of hot water. Wifi was patchy. On a positive note,...

Our room was very run down. The shower wall was dirty moldy paneling. The ceiling was peeling and patchy. The rug on the floor was matted and missing a lot of threads. The tv was from the 1980's The only thing the motel had going for it is the mountain views across the street.

I was disappointed upon arrival to my cabin. I think with just a little bit of updating and more attention to detail by the owners and housekeepers, this place could go a long way. Overall the room lacked charm and felt dingy and slightly dirty. We definitely didn't want to be walking about bare foot. The television was also miniature....

Decided to book three nights here during a family vacation to the area and although the rooms are rustic, it's a wonderful motel with incredible views of the western side of the Presidential Range. Very friendly service and close to the local attractions and a great pool and fireplaces for the property. Highly recommended

I'll start with the door. In order to open it you had to shove it open (pull really hard to get out) and there was a gap of about 3/4" at the bottom. The bathroom door couldn't be closed all the way because it hit the floor. The shower head was nothing more than a mister. The mattress was VERY...

We arrived for a week vacation to explore the white mountains. The staff was family run and very friendly. The rooms are clean and cosy. The view of the mountains was incredible right from our room. There was no t-mobile reception there Hahaha but they do have free WiFi which you can use to send texts, calls, and emails. The...

There are areas of our state thronged with tourist--and the kind of commerce that attracts. The Randolph area is still relatively tourist-free. Great place to get lost in and just roam where the will wills. A great destination if you are good friends with yourself or enjoy the quite communications a couple can achieve.

The purpose for our stay was for the Presidential traverse hike. Mt Jefferson view is only 2 miles from Valley Way/Appalachia trailhead where we picked up the shuttle. Our intention was to leave our car in the lot, but the gentleman at the desk graciously offered to drop us off and leave our car with them and pick us up...

This was right for the price for a CLEAN motel. Remember though, it is a motel not a hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean and no repair work needed to be done. All paint looked fresh. There was a slight musty smell but it was not unbearable. The mattress was comfortable. The shower head was basically a pipe. Nothing fancy but...
